I think the only thing that makes this result acceptable is looking at it thusly :- Man City win so the only team that’s inconvenienced is man united who don’t qualify for Europe. With man united winning it stops the pep love in, and all the spaffing over Haaland and Foden can stop for an afternoon. It means Newcastle don’t get Europe, and sod them, it means Chelsea go in the pound shop European cup and sod them. So all in all a great day for the neutral.

We used to hate United growing up. They were ruthless and their manager was a bully. Now people actually feel bad for their manager and want them to win because Man City are the villains. How time has changed.

Utd were exceptional today. 
Limiting Man City to such few chances, whilst controlling the midfield and taking their own chances belied a manager who has failed to get them going so often this season.

I think Utd fans are probably right. Theres something wrong at the club that starts well above every manager they’ve had since Sir Alex.

They’ll sack Ten Hag and the incumbent will likely have the same issues I suspect.
