FosseSpark Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Even with 6 out injured we've got centre back, full back, holding mid, wing and striker covered on the bench. Not bad.
Gamble92 Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 One other theory for Ward on the bench is Enzo was up last night watching our FA Cup match with Shrewsbury

Simonb Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Disappointed to see wilf out. Can only assume he's picked up a knock in training since Enzo did his conference.. could be a big miss.. hope cesare steps up finally Get any win and go again saturday
Legend_in_blue Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Ndidi being rested according to LCFC Matchday live.

sylofox Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 I thought Ndidi was sent home from I D for personal reasons not an injury. So perhaps it's a major personal issue and Enzo won't risk him as his attitude could cause us problems.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Not sure about the balance of the midfield. Theres little ball-winning tenacity in there tonight. Going forward, we may well be on fire! But defensively… not sure

dmayne7 Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 2 keepers is sinful. Why not stick a youngster on the bench for the exposure? Better than a keeper wasting a spot, even moreso when one of them is Danny Ward 2
TrentFox Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Anyone think JJ might start right side to counter Clarke? 🤔 1

SafewayFox Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 It does highlight the importance of strengthening certain positions in January (CM). Praet won’t rush to get fit when he is almost a dead cert to leave on a free in the Summer. Ndidi will be off in ACON….Rudkin can be trusted can’t he? 👀
Daggers Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Mowbray says they want to come and attack. Please let them be that suicidal.

Pita Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Tonight going to be our toughest test so far this season. Sunderland are a good team. We will see how our season looking. Let’s hope it will very good 1

StriderHiryu Posted 24 October 2023 Posted 24 October 2023 Sunderland's midfield two are Jobe Bellingham (17) and Pierre Ekwah (21), so I think this is the best test yet for Casadei, who is 20 years old. Both of the Sunderland two have been pretty decent when I've seen them, so the comparison between them and Casadei will be pretty accurate and relevant in terms of where he's at development wise.
