Ask anyone who has ever played football at a decent standard and those positions and they’ll tell you the differences between playing RB and LB are more extreme than most would think. He’s only recently took on RB let alone having to play the opposite side. Also thought Marti hung him out to dry by asking him to play a more traditional role there having to offer width on his wrong foot - knock on effect from that was Monga had no help at all.

He’s lazy. Extremely lazy. He just strolls around. Just watch him doing it on the highlights. That’s why people don’t like him.

Lazy is not something I would use to describe him, he's more so "runs a round like a headless chicken" than lazy, Soumaré, Mavididi, Faes.....these are the players I'd call lazy. If you look at his stats of ground covered compared to some others you'll find he's higher ranked.

When was the last time he played LB?

He was more solid than Thomas. Just had the odd brain fart and moments when he switched off, which he does often.

If ever you were asked for 2 words to describe  the shit show that is the running of the club it would be "left back".

3 year extension  for one of the worst left backs in 3 divisions being replaced by one of the worst  footballers on a contract extension.  And as for victor ...

Ironically, it's probably fueled by this kind of ignorance (don't mean than in an offensive way, just can't think of a better word!). The amount of off the field incidents, multiple games we've lost where he's been laughing and joking with the opposition, the fact he's never been good enough for us and that he's always been on a huge wedge vs his ability, and reasons why. You've then got people who blindly defend him no matter what.

Thomas has been an abomination, and yes Hamza was played in an unfamiliar role, but his performance was extremely poor. Hypocrisy for him to be calling for focus from his teammates when he had multiple brainfades last night, lucky that a couple didn't lead to goals. Even for there goal, whilst it certainly wasn't his fault, looks at his positioning compared to the defensive line. Unfortunately that happened multiple times.

He should be decent at this level but unfortunately he's symbolical of a lot of this club's failings in recent years.

I've not said he's good enough have I? I've not defended him to say he's the best and should start every game? I'm simply saying that the hate he gets compared to some is unbalanced. The comparison was with Luke Thomas and the fact that its his natural LB but Hamza (who's natural position isn't LB) , did an OK job compared to what Thomas has been doing

He's more a squad player at best. He's the type of player I bring on to close out a 1-0 lead in the last 15 minutes of a game, to close the door and get some tackles in.

Going forwards or playing the ball about isn't his thing

Huh? I didn't say you did think those things did I? Think you might have taken it the wrong way. Was just explaining why he gets all this hate from some.

But I don't think he did an ok job when he commited multiple big errors, much like Thomas did against Sheffield United

Very animated in the tunnel & changing room after the game so I'm told.

Shame he couldn't find that energy for the 90 minutes before that.

I would love to know what about as he was rubbish so has no right to be moaning at anyone

some of our fans can say "hes one of our own" etc

but honestly hes not been good enough, half asleep most the time

passing terrible too

hes been like it for months

The fact he’s lasted as long as he has here is a good reflection of the way the clubs gone.

Should’ve been moved on so long ago.

Oh and stop ****ing playing him RB

Absolutely horrible tonight. Terrible passing and regularly got caught half asleep.

Seems to think he is better than what he is. Always plays the easy option back. Walks more than runs and how he retreats inside the box when his winger runs at him is criminal

Got to be trolling us. Video on the official FB page:

"We had a big emphasis on starting the game well, and I think we did for the first 2 or 3 minutes".

Ambles around like he owns the place.

Lazy shit.

At times he had his back to Vestergaard or Okoli as they had the ball. Offered nothing to them

And this guy is our vice captain lol lol lol that in itself speaks volumes.

You highlight his negatives, on the plus, he can have a skinful and drive home, or try to.

He's absolutely shocking. Never plays a positive pass, a complete headless chicken. Him 7 Thomas must be 2 of our worst players ever but both will be here forever

They're such a bad advertisement for our academy. What's worse there's been players we've binned that have flourished after leaving and gone on to greater things but we keep these two clowns.

We have this weird mentality that we owe them something.

They both should have gone a long time ago and they'd probably be playing at their level of league 1 on £3k a week. Instead we give them massive contracts and let them help in destroying our club. Would I be wrong I saying they're probably costing us a combined £100k a week?

It's just one of the countless bad decisions made by the club over the years.

Pathetic performance. Doesn't do anything apart from pass it back to the bloke who has just passed him the ball.  A joke footballer who we are stuck with for another 3 years.
