Start Vards, had a fortnight off so should be fresh. Be nice to see us fly out the traps  grab a couple of early goals and be in a position to give Cannon a good 30 mins.

They had a decent result last time out, but could do with a couple of convincing wins, so 3-0 in this one and then 2-0 away to Birmingham would be nice.

What about Sheff Weds, Plymouth and Millwall inbetween?

This is really a must not lose game, we have to be on it , be clinical , take our chances. Hopefully Enzo has got them on the training pitch just scoring goals and being ruthless.

Is the pre match presser today?

I wouldn't say it a must not lose, I'd say it's a must not be so bad infront of goal, if we can manage that, we win the game comfortably as regardless of how poor we've been infront of goal recently, we are still rock solid at the back and I don't see that changing anytime soon

Whilst walking the dog this morning I was asked if I was looking forward to Saturday’s game. I told the person I can’t look forward to watching this Leicester team and the way they play, because i don’t like this style of play, I like direct football. I really like Maresca and back him with his mentality he is bringing to the club but it’s a strange feeling to only be looking forwarding to singing WYS before kick off, rather than the actual match itself. This is a very simplified description but does anyone else have these thoughts regarding the current team. For the record I think we’ll win 3-0, especially if they have original Danny Ward in goal.

I presume you've not liked watching us since Shakespeare was sacked then best part of 6 years ago?

Nope I can’t wait to watch us play, we can’t be expected to win every game hopefully they have been working on creating and converting more better opportunities in front of goal that’s the only thing that’s really lacking

I’ve not enjoyed us since Ranieri went if I’m honest (except for a few games- Man City 5-2). But I can hand it to Maresca, I believe he is the best manager of the overall club since Pearson and I am excited that we will see similar growth off the pitch.

I’d hate to be a striker in this system but for the Midfielders there’s no reason bar injury that we shouldn’t have wingers, KDH and possibly Ndidi in double figures.

I really look forward to going to watch us, even with the past few results

In the games where we have got our style of play spot on I think it is brilliant; Preston, Stoke, Bristol etc. where we have just dominated from start to finish and barely even given the opponents a sniff I love it, absolute domination

One thing I did like vs Stoke, was the way he managed to change it with Ndidi and Vardy coming on they were snookered, as he reacted vs Alex Neil pushing them on. I also felt we were more direct then. Fundamentally I want to see Leicester win, style of play is secondary, as I have alluded to in other posts I am excited about Maresca’s overall impact at the club. I believe he will manage upwards well.

What if we lose this but still get promoted? Will the EFL stop us going up?

This game feels pretty big.

Losing 3 on the bounce would kill any momentum or confidence we have left.

Im saying 1-1

Got a feeling this might be 0-0. They don't give up much at the back. I hope he gives things a bit of a shake up from an attacking point of view.
