Thing you have to remember about Soumare is that within our squad, his ceiling is probably one of the highest. He’s just been unable to do it for us. Now he has a manager who has history of getting quality out of a player of his technical ilk (Sangare), there is a chance he will get towards that ceiling. If he’s delivering 8/10’s every week then we stay up comfortably.

He has everything to be fair. Strong, aggressive, great feet, decent in the air … was so frustrating before because he never showed it and looked lazy. Different player now.

Noticed that too. says a lot. Ruud is a winner and he is creating a positive environment in which every player can buy in. Getting the best out of the players at your disposal is key. There's a long way to go but this team will get better and better as the season goes on.
