Noticed this as well, made me lose it watching. Reminded me of Chilwell against Chelsea in the lockdown season.

He’s been awful except 3/4 games he’s just taking up space in the middle as the game passes him by. It’s like he at a bus stop but doesn’t know which one he’s supposed to catch so stands and watches them all come and go. Reminds me of a poor man’s Gareth Williams that Pearson got rid of. He wouldn’t last 10 seconds in Pearson team.

In fact, we recouped what we paid for Musa so he probably doesn't deserve to be on that list.

There was a point - fairly early on - when VK was had the ball at RB and was under pressure looking to him to come for the ball, and he just stood there not moving. Lazy shit.

I have never seen a CM seem to have a free role in a midfield 2.

Thats how it seems anyway..

marks space, doesn’t press, never gets near an opposition shirt.

soucek tonight was able to go where he pleased with no attention at all..

it’s bizarre that Soumare does it, even more bizarre when he’s picked every game when he is clearly a disinterested passenger..

he was poison in his first season and he continues to be now

I kinda like Soumare in small doses but he should never, ever be starting. And definitely never in a two

 

 

Skipp,. honestly, is a decent honest fit water carrier player. 5m-6m worth. Nobody should get on his back for Rudkin's negotiating skills.
