Surreal experience, finally watch one of our great games this season.

 

Felt Southampton was one of our easiest games, as they play possession, lots of passing back which allowed us to recover shape, tippy tappy etc. so easy to play against.

Not sure Enzo really changed anything on the ball.  It's just they made it so easy for plan a to work.

Enzo absolutely nailed that tonight. The way we pressed them and won the ball high up the pitch set the tone.

 

They were turgid but partly because we did the above so well.

It was a terrible challenge, pros and cons to var not being in this league I guess
