Signings like this have rarely come to any good. He would be making a huge jump to the EPL, and he would have no time to adapt and be successful, and before you know, he’s back on loan to the championship. 
 

If Blackburn would be willing to accept £5m then he’s worth a go, but they want £20m, which is completely hideous for a player with such little success throughout his career. He’s not had a sustained period of good statistics to warrant a gamble of any more than £5m on him. 
 

He will more than likely end up at Leeds, they like wasting money. 

His age would point toward him having 2-3 peak years left so the only issue is re-sale which if we got him for anything under 9m on a 3-4 yr contract would be no issue PSR wise providing Rudkin doesn’t give him something stupid like 60K p/w. 

 

Our current striker options are very limited and this guy is adapt at playing as a pressing forward and second striker, two key positions in Coopers systems. 
 

I agree 20m is uttterly stupid by Blackburn but they aren’t desperate for cash so they may be tempted by a cash plus loan offer. 
 

Daka’s stock is extremely low and we may have to bite the bullet with him for a short while if we wish to get any value back. 
 

A loan to the championship, 40 games and 12-15+ goal involvements might see us fetch a fee for him next year because let’s face it he isn’t going to make it at Leicester.

Reasonable bid plus cannon on loan for the season! Like the lad and bit of a shithouse and this would be his big first and last chance in this league worth a punt. Seems like a great character to have around anorl.

Sensible offer. Maybe if clubs keep offering these types of fees and the player wants out he will kick up a stink, ensuring a move happens late window. I would really like him here, I’ve been saying it from the off, but for no more than £10m absolute max. 8m would be reasonable.

Don’t get the negativity about him. I’ve only seen him live twice and both times at the KP he’s been the best player on the pitch. 
 

if Ipswich get him for £6m it’d be a steal. At that kind of price (<£10m) we really ought to be interested.

Top scorer in the Championship but not good enough for Prem relegation favorites in a team that almost got relegated.

 

Nope lets spend 25m on a unknown.

Similar to what they tried last year when spending a lot of Piroe. 

 

Like you said they are very short on midfielders with Kamara and Grey leaving. 

 

With Summerville and Gnoto looking like they are going too they have a massive poject on their hands with 4 weeks until the season starts.

The negativity is that he won't cost 6 and Blackburn want 20.

 

We'd probably all have him for 5 or so.

I think the club need to go back in for a look at Szmodics ipswich just had a bid rejected maybe time to test the water again just need to avoid that hefty valuation somehow hopefully the club can do some loan deal in exchange for szmodics to knock it down like others have said here.

a bit more than decent in a relegation side, there is a lot of players that get moves after having one good season esp if you are a goal scorer plus we have paid over the odds for loads of players so nothing new there.
