Rodgers
“I’m so happy for Leicester I have to say. It’s a great club. Top, the owner, is absolutely amazing. And Jon Rudkin works so hard as a sporting director, while Susan Whelan oversees a lot of stuff. It was a shame the club went down. Enzo’s done a really good job in pulling them together and getting them promoted and I hope they can kick on next season.”

The team going up is a lot weaker than the team going down bar the goalkeepers. If we had the 2 main keepers today, two years ago we would never have gone down and be in better shape today. I'll never forget the freezing out of defensive players under Rodgers who could have contributed in the failed season and his perseverance with one Danny 'happy to watch em fly by' Ward. Thanks for the FA Cup though.

...Like it wasn't his doing!! I swear, it doesn't sit right with me, how much this pr!ck riles me up!

Like he didn’t want us to go down the ****.

Particularly after he was binned, he’d have been rooting for us to go down. Imagine how he’d have worried about his ego if we had gone on to stay up under Smith.

Yea he wanted to get sacked so he could get a juicy payout and done everything possible to make it happen.

Terrible manager

He might as well have said “It was awful, like watching a car crash in slow motion, I really felt for them”

It’s odd, I don’t really bear much malice towards Holloway for his stint with us whereas the bile I reserve for Rodgers is nigh-on bottomless.

I’d celebrate if he met severe misfortune - like a full party. Absolutely loathe him like no other ever connected with the club.

Hopefully he keeps the club out of his mouth in the future. It's best for us to move on and forget him, I really dont want to be reminded of his time here by him popping up in the media to talk about us every few years.

It wasn't "a shame", it was an absolute fckking travesty that the squad we had were relegated. And that is on Brendan, jumped up little ****. Yes, I know the Board should've acted sooner, but you just know they were blindsided by his smarmy drivel and conned by his word salad speeches.  Not one ounce of accepting responsibility or humility from him. It's the attitude that riles me. He's an absolute, utter c0ckwomble.

As said above, he should be held in good regard for the FA Cup but, I can't get past all of the other negatives and the fact that he's set us back at least 5 years, after all the hard work and progress made.

I can forgive other managers who have overseen relegation, where the reality was that we really just weren't good enough. I will never, ever forgive Brendan.

This guy is worse and has done more damage than Peter Taylor to us.
I feel like the FA Cup was more in despite of him than his doing too.
I loathe everything about him.

We basically made him bigger than the club. He returned the favour by publicly talking the club and his squad down.

22/23 was the biggest disgrace of a season in our history.

That's the big lesson we need to take away from this. Absolute race to the bottom. I keep banging this point but the way Brighton have just shook hands with De Zerbi, a manager who's stock is very high (rightly or wrongly) because he reverted to being pretty mediocre with them. Self-respect. Belief in yourself to take any hit. That's why they will eventually get there. We should embrace that sort of attitude again.
