I think we won the FA cup despite him.

I sometimes think my disdain for him is irrational and disproportionate but reading this thread gives me comfort that it's not me and he really is an insufferable, dry lipped poisonous dwarf

This 100%

This thread is like therapy and anger at the same time.

I hate everything about the short little tw*t.

Him talking about us to the media stirs all sorts of rage towards him too, where’s Will Smith when you need him?

'its a shame the club went down'

My cousin said that to to me......but they have no affiliation with Leicester and don't support them. I would never say that as a supporter....it's a remark which is said with a shrug of the shoulders where the sayer also doesn't care either way

He’s a narcissistic sociopath who relegated us because he couldn’t stand to be proven wrong.

He'd never have come out the woodwork if he hadn't won that one-and-a-half team league.

Sometimes better to say nothing at all. Knob.

It’s a shame he binned Kasper out after all he had done for the club. What professional

premier league manager would persist with Danny Ward. Either he wanted us to go down otherwise he is completely inept. Pathetic little man.

I despise the bloke more than anyone ever associated with the club which considering we won our first ever FA cup with him shows what a despicable **** he really is. He shouldn't speak about us with anything other than embarrassment and remorse

I know it sounds unprofessional but I still believe players like Vardy and Albrighton should have spoken out and at least raise their concerns about BR last season. Both know this team better than any Rodgers, I'm sure they can feel the fans frustration.

Rodgers nearly bottled the FA Cup final with his defensive subs late in the game inviting pressure and messing with the defense structure. He's one of a lot modern managers right now who doesn't have a clue how to change things tactically on the fly. You just pray his initial plan will work, if not it's game over.

Albrighton was bigging him up the other day on talksport

Don't think we'll ever have a manager who's best and worst were so far apart. This bloke should be borderline royalty here given he actually won the FA Cup and yet hardly anybody likes him, myself included.

Classic of the genre with him though isn't it. He's clever with his words. Word it in such a way so that it seems he had nothing to actually do with our relegation. He tanked the season and that combined with our cretinous board who were either too daft to see it or too weak to act on it put us down.

We've gone back up but still go into the season in the weakest position we've entered a season since 2014/15 - infact I'd argue it's probably weaker than that all considered.

As usual, exceptional post Dan

He should be hailed as one of our greatest ever managers for winning the Cup and the 5th placed finishes, I felt all year he was playing for the sack. Top Premier League managers don't play Ward, Thomas, Amartey etc and expect to pick up results, he knew exactly what he was doing.

Yep that was the feeling we’d gotten. He’d lost interest, had little to spend and seemed to be actively trying to get the club relegated.

His team selections sometimes beggared belief.

It's a shame the club went down. As if he's talking about another manager taking us down

Utter bellend.

Unbelievable isn't it! What an absolute turd, still thinks it was nothing whatsoever to do with him! Deluded Brendan at his best.

FU*K OFF AND EAT SH1T you lying, fraudulent, narcissistic, back stabbing, fan hating, incompetent, shiny toothed, notebook scribbling, tiny hand clapping, odious little  C**t of a leprechaun.

You will always be my most hated LCFC "manager" of all time.

Ok Rant over...

I'll accept any incoming ban now..

It would be worth it!

He is a PR machine. Has the easiest job in Britain again. A man of some bottle would have backed himself for another top flight job in England.

For me it was the first game of the season v Brentford on a red hot August day we are cruising at 2-0 and he  makes our only sub on 70 odd minutes whilst Brentford make 5 and get back in the game! He was making a point at the detriment of the team

Then said they were tired in his post match interview.

Genuinely think if we win that 2-0 then none of what happened next unfolds like that.

Who cares? Forget Rodgers, look ahead.

haha, you made this comment in a thread about Rodgers :D

He's got another decent PL gig in him hasn't he. He'll successfully wash his hands of that season and you only have to see the absurdity of appointments being made in football. As much as I dislike him I think if Kompany gets the Bayern job pretty much anybody is fair game for anything.

He'll be back. His Celtic move is working as planned.

You lot need to move on. It's like you can't stop talking about him.

This isn't a Nigel Pearson thread.

There's an old wise Chinese proverb (ish), which is very fitting. It encapsulates the situation with dignity, intelligence and captures the feelings towards this man.
