This report kinda suggests he’s not Billy big bolloxs whilst also highlighting what my post suggested in that Plymouth is a basket case of a job, smallest squad, budget and crippled with injuries to his best players.

I think any manager would struggle to keep them in the championship tbh & again as my post alluded to he fell foul of trying to get a progressive tune out of a limited club.

I stick by why do people have to hate just because he’s a name.

I think you've totally missed my point tbh.

It's got nothing to do with personality of the person it's the ex player being given a leap into management without any management experience.

There's plenty of evidence of it I.e. Rooney, Lampard and Gerrard.

Some ex players are willing to take time to graft and learn like Alonso, Xavi etc... at under 21s or youth coach level.

Most of the above english managers haven't  been able to turn around bad patches of form as a manager.

Can only go after the jobs that are available 🤷‍♂️

Robins is an excellent appointment for Stoke, although they seem to go through a lot of managers.

I refuse to believe that Bristol City have ever existed outside of 9th-16th in the championship.

Undoubtedly the most boring team to follow in the last 50 years. Done absolutely nothing. Most famous players are BdcR and Josh Brownhill. Unless they claim an on loan Andy Cole.as theirs

Agree. I think, at last, they have got it. Law of averages I guess that they'd get it right eventually

Hull got what they deserved then. Showed no attacking endeavour from minute one at home. Concede in the 93rd minute.

Also amazing from sub who was on pitch less than 20 mins and looked knackered from the second he came on Kamara 😂. Didn’t track back at all for the winner.

Commentator says 'this place is about to explode with joy'.

Possibly the quietest celebrations from the Sunderland fans when the final whistle goes lol

Bristol City could be dark horses for the play-offs.

They actually don't have the ability to win more than two games in a row, find it impossible in fact lol

They've also spent the last 6 or so years conceding 90+ minute goals for a draw or defeat.

Nige stabilised them, new guy seems fine but still hasn't fixed the long standing issues. They have a small squad, young players and not a lot of flair... and the owner has done years of throwing cash away and seems a bit done with it.

I think he was particularly pissed off that Mark Ashton pissed away all his money, went to Ipswich, signed half the country and got them back to back promotions lol

They're a funny club, it's crazy a city of that size with their catchment area hasn't seen the "Premier League" yet. I'm sure it'll come one day.

I follow them as my mates a fan so know a lot about them, I think there's too much competition in that league this season for them to sustain any sort of challenge, as the poster above said they'll be between 8th and 16th lol

Pedant's score but also had a single permanent season there. Was Bristol City's most expensive signing at the time.

QPR smashing it. Wouldn't be surprised if they beat us next week...

Neither would I. Perfect cup draw, the higher team struggling and the lower team on a nice run.

They've had a great turnaround since November although prior to the season starting I thought they might be an outside bet for top 6.
