Disappointing to miss out on this one.

 

Hopefully it's one we can go for again in Jan or even next Summer...Although seeing as we're likely to be in the Championship next season, I'd say that's unlikely!

Hopefully Panathanaikos just eant him for this game regardless. Keeping him is their best chance to reach the UCL. Once that's accomplished maybe they'll let him go and if they fail they'll probably want the money from us. So either way.

Expected him to play tonight, I am holding out hope the complete lack of any leaks anywhere on this number 9 we want is because we are hoping they get knocked out

I do agree that this is most likely. 

 

I think Cooper will view the depth chart something like:

 

Vardy > Daka > Mavididi > Ayew

I see Tete is playing alongside Ioannidis tonight - if there was any chance we'd sign him, I'm sure Tete would put the mockers on it, given how well he got on at the KP!
