After Winks and Ndidi, we're severely lacking in quality in midfield. 

That's clear to see but we are lacking in certain types of midfielders that Skipp won't solve.

Winks & Skipp in the pivot is good enough to stay up, but it won't be enough without somebody to link them to the attack - I'm not sure we can rely on Buonanotte to do that, and I don't fancy any of our wide players in the hole.

 

So it's a yes from me, but we need more. Someone like Hatate is capable and would link that up nicely

My reaction to this is based on other priority positions remaining unfilled. If we still get those sorted and Soumare is off then whilst Skipp is a little unimaginative, he is capable.

 

Once again can't see how he fits in to a wage structure thst needs to be much lower.

Skipp is a good player. And his help is not contingent on other signings - he's just a good player who can help in the middle of the pitch no matter what the game plan is.

Soumare should be off. That'd just be 4 players for 2 positions and Hamza won't start unless there's an injury crisis.

Agree. Should read ‘Leicester are failing again to get a done deal’.  This is last week’s optimistic signing that will be high-jacked by either of Ipswich or Southampton.  No hope for Rudkin on this.

Winks and Skipp are your ball playing / comfortable on the ball midfielders, Wilf and Hamza are “destroyers”, and Soumare is ass

"should" you know who does the deals, he'll be looking for 90mil for soumare

other positions are needed more than skipp imo
