-sodapop Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 (edited) Only way this makes sense to me is if we're expecting Hermansen to go - and if what Tanner was saying about our finances is true, that might be necessary to make any signings. Could see Liverpool looking to get the heir to Alisson in with time to bed into the team. That said, I don't buy it. Edited 7 August 2024 by -sodapop
lcfcsnow Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 Another average journeyman over 30, Cooper must go before we morph into Forest 2

Liverpool have pretty much already sorted that with Mamardashvili from Valencia The only club I can see being able to afford / get Hermansen now that may need a keeper is Man City seeing as Ederson has been linked with Saudi
winteriscoming Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 Imagine if Palace get 20m+ for Ayew and Johnstone. 😂

Why ? have they signed any of the players rumoured ? No - has it ever crossed your mind it may be actual rubbish ? as stated before this window was always going to be a real nightmare - we have spent in excess of £30m so far and making signings is not easy for any newly promoted side especially if you are constrained under FFP like we are … 6
copunk Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 Would rather gamble and give Stolarczyk the number 1 shirt 1

Picking the best young south american talents to sell on if they don’t work out is one thing… but they wouldn’t be taking a keeper from river plate as a first choice
DezFox Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 He would be a good option in goal. I think if Jakob wasn’t injured we would be linked.
Clarkey123 Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 The most least priority signing happening and with a large chunk of budget. Shock 🙄

StanSP Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 We're in no position to hoard goalkeepers. And nearly spend the same amount as we did on Ward for Johnstone. Literally would make no sense given the limited funds. Hermansen and Iversen are capable enough. Avoid!

Hope not but probably the most likely signing out of all the ones we’ve been linked with over the last few days knowing Rudkin and the hierarchy
egg_fried_rice Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 I feel sick. These links get worse and worse. Uninspiring dross. Anything other than rock bottom this season will be an absolute miracle. 1

Foxes1 Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 Rudders will offer 10 million for him and then accept an offer of 8 million for Hermansen.
coolhandfox Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 (edited) Think this is an old link from when we thought Chelsea would go for Mads. Edited 7 August 2024 by coolhandfox 3
jayfox26 Posted 7 August 2024 Posted 7 August 2024 We've barely any budget left to sign players for the positions we need, so it would be very like us to spend £10m on a back up keeper to go with the £12m we spent on another centre back.
