winteriscoming Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 Never gonna happen. More likely he’ll end up back at Palace and we’ll end up with Ayew.
goody2028 Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 (edited) Surely we can’t afford his wage, or ego. edit: didn’t realise it was a years loan, gerrimin Edited 9 August 2024 by goody2028

No doubt that is expensive for a single season, but if that 9M keeps you up it's well worth the spend. I am so excited if this happens! Given the situation the club has been in, who could we realistically get that would significantly boost our chances of survival? Maybe, MAYBE Tammy Abraham if he was fully fit? Zaha at Leicester makes me go from "no chance of staying up" to "hold on... this might be on!" 1

Leicester_Loyal Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 The sort of signing that keeps you up IMO. 2

moore_94 Posted 9 August 2024 Author Posted 9 August 2024 As Galatsaray are a publicly trading company they have to announce player contract details - Zaha’s from when he signed: An agreement has been reached for the transfer of professional football player Dazet Wilfried Armel Zaha for 3 seasons. According to the agreement, the football player will be paid a net signing fee of 2,330,000 Euros and a net seasonal wage of 4,350,000 Euros for each football season. 2 2

Was wondering if he could play down the middle. could be that gala would be so keen to get his wages off the books for a season that they may not care for a loan fee. So we could pay him 100k+/week and given that we aren’t paying anything else we could perhaps justify it in the books 2

This guy will hack your emails, interogate your family and find ALL the dirt on you, and make your life a misery. Do you remember that stupid thing you did as a teenager that one time? Well moore_94 knows, has the evidence, and he will be using it in the court of law against you. You have been warned. Edited 9 August 2024 by StriderHiryu 6
EnderbyFox Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 Probably been answered elsewhere but how many loans can we have in the squad? That’s Zaha, the Argentinian fella, Fofana & Toure all linked within a couple days

S/o fee £2m over three years = 14k/week nett = approx 26k gross here salary = £70k/week nett = approx 120k gross so that’s around 146k/week from our budget to cover his wages (£7m/season) we’d expect a player of his standing to weigh in at a salary of 80k and that means an effective loan fee of £3m. Doesn’t seem unreasonable

So £72k a week then. 4,350,000 / 52 = 83,653. Factor in the exchange rate = 71,535. Edited 9 August 2024 by Bert 1
kingfox Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 Will always remember his greatest Premier League moment...

That’s Zaha, the Argentinian fella, Fofana & Toure all linked within a couple days This is really complicated: Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time. The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time. Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window. A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club. These rules were introduced by the Premier League ahead of the 2019/20 season. They have continued to change in recent years, with FIFA announcing in January 2022 that by July 2024, the number of players allowed to be loaned out and loaned in will be reduced from eight to six. During the 2023/24 season, clubs were allowed seven loan players in and seven loaned out. It is worth noting that these restrictions don't apply to players under the age of 21 or "homegrown" talents, who are defined as players who have spent time at their current club or another in the same country for at least three years between the ages of 15 and 21. That last bit is quite important as it might mean that Buananotte doesn't count towards the limit. But I don't know how long he's been in England for. Edited 9 August 2024 by StriderHiryu 1 1
Nolucklcfc Posted 9 August 2024 Posted 9 August 2024 Fatawu Mavididi, Zaha, Vardy (when fit) is a decent attacking line up. 1
