He brings on Bilal for Skipp mainly because Skipp was on a booking. Bilal seems an attacking change but it could just have been more to do with his energy. We do lack energy some times. I think this place has mainly turned against Cooper so he’s dammed no matter what he does. Had we parked the bus at 2-2 and still lost in the last minute people would have moaned. I’ve said it since day one, so many fans on here are anti Cooper because he’s ex Forrest. He wasn’t a glamorous option and he isn’t Potter who was the favourite of most of us. He was on to a loss before he even started with at least 70% of this forum. I genuinely haven't seen anybody bar the odd one or two even factor that in. You're using that as a scapegoating argument. I couldn't give a flying **** that he managed Forest. What I do care about is how he manages Leicester, and sadly it stinks. 14

Tielemans63 Posted 28 September 2024 Posted 28 September 2024 I'm less angry than I was after the Palace game. Arsenal's team is full of quality players, Palace were there for the taking and we paid them far too much respect 4
Brooksy Posted 28 September 2024 Posted 28 September 2024 Is he doing it on purpose? I fail to believe a Prem manager is this incompetent.

How on earth are people still defending him or believing he can improve things? His in game management is terrible. The players have been arguing most the season. His subs are the worst I’ve ever seen. Tactics are woeful and they weren’t much better at Forest. Even Swansea fans didn’t like him. Get it done now. Squad is better than fighting relegation or scraping 17th. They still have no argument. They are now just resorting to name calling. Here are some facts, here is some data, here is some tactical analysis, a long list of reasons why warning signs and red flags are everywhere. Yeah well I just believe, and you are a twat for not believing. Too much Ted lasso imo. 2

It's irrelevant if you deserve something or not, no one remembers that. They remember the final position at the end of the season! No change from me on my opinion of the clown! 🤡 Agree here. I would be happy with him if we'd done the following. Won at Palace having been 2-0 up. (2 points gained - taking us to 5) Attacked Everton from the off and won. (Another two- taking us to 7) Held on through decent game management today after a genuinely heroic comeback (taking us to 8) We would be five clear of the bottom three and in fine fettle for the rest of the season. The Cooper Out brigade would look absolutely ridiculous, however much they criticised the style. It's the combination of us being horrible to watch and STILL not picking up results. Pulis's Stoke were pragmatic. We just look poorly managed and clueless. 1

Fair enough, it really cannot be long before the club acts, even if it was Arsenal, that was a fragility that cannot be resolved without changes in the Dear Leader position, especially after what the Mercury reported about the Club not being so slow to react this time. 3

sm1 Posted 28 September 2024 Posted 28 September 2024 He'll hang his hat on those 2 goals, but in reality it could've been 10 for Arsenal. They had 36 shots with 16 on target. Did anybody have any confidence in us keeping them out in injury time, I didn't. The game, the tactics, subs, everything was awful.
RowlattsFox Posted 28 September 2024 Posted 28 September 2024 Last season Vardy barely got past 60 minutes, and that was in the championship. I know the options are shit but he's a passenger unless the ball falls for him. 1

Trouble is, I'll believe that when I see it. I genuinely think they run on different time to us. They won't leave it as long as Brendan but I bet they still leave it well beyond the point where it turns really toxic.
moore_94 Posted 28 September 2024 Posted 28 September 2024 Has us setup and playing defensively yet we have the 3rd worst defence in the league Clearly isn’t working too well is it Steve 2 1

So I’d counter that by stating some facts and some opinions…. We've scored in every game thus far. Including 2 at Arsenal today which not many teams will do. We’ve been in every game this season. Thats my opinion. You may disagree. But on 93 minutes today we were taking point at Arsenal which would have been an amazing result. We aren’t the experienced PL side of 4 seasons ago. We’ve just come up and we have to remember that. We don’t have the likes of Barnes, Maddison and Tilemans anymore. We will lose more games this season than we win. That’s very normal for a newly promoted side. My honest opinion is that we will end the season with more points than the other two promoted sides and then we just have to hope that Wolves, Palace and Everton continue to stutter. We were always going to be in a relegation scrap this season. Expecting otherwise is/was naive. If we don’t win either of the next two against teams in and around us my opinion may change but for now I do see enough to have some hope. Some. Not a lot. But some. 4 1 1

We should’ve taken all 3 at Palace,. He’s too scared to make subs to change the game while there is time. All his subs seem like an empty gesture rather than a tactical choice.

As for Ranieri….thats a stupid point. We were pretty much all against the Ranieri appointment before a ball was kicked.
