Having said that Coopers sytem makes it easy for the opposition to target him. We really need one of the two new young lads to come good soon which is asking a lot of them. The Italian lad is a little ahead of the Morroccan lad. We should also be trying to work Kasey into the team because he's a good player and knows how to score goals. 1

Surely playing Ricardo would help since, if he's allowed to play a similar role to last season, he'll effectively help ease the burden in the middle of midfield at times, and offer an avenue on the right which would stretch the opposition and as a result, make Winks less of an easy target. 5
shasse Posted 4 October 2024 Posted 4 October 2024 (edited) Paddy power giving 10/1 on Cooper next to go. Thought it worth a tenner punt. Edited 4 October 2024 by shasse

The memories of the last home defeat to Bournemouth will still be raw. Don't forget as well that Cooper doesn't have the same credit in the bank that Rodgers was able to rely on to outstay his welcome. 1

Fox85 Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 For the sake of the future of Leicester city football club I hope this is the last time he is in charge. 1

But why tf does he not do this Hermansen Faes. Ndidi. Okoli Ricardo. Skipp Fats. Buonannotte. Mavers Kristiansen Vardy/Edouard Surely this would be so much better with having both our best wingers playing, no Justin and ndidi playing a role he actually knew before a year in the championship Odd that our Director of Football thought it would be a good idea to appoint a manager whose preferred system would mean leaving out one of our best attacking players. Assuming he even realised that, of course. 1

This is an area we have should have a marginal advantage over Southampton and Ipswich's boards with McKenna and Martin respectively. Saying that, McKenna is actually decent and the Southampton fans want Martin out.

Now they are playing against Premier league players they are being found out. We need to sign five 1st team players in January if we have any expectations of stopping up. We beat Bournemouth last season
Mike1983 Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 The only reason we have three points, rather than one or none, is because we have one of the best keepers in the league. Our scoring is purely luck or muscle memory. Apart from a bit of fight, I see nothing Cooper has contributed positively. 2
Kinowe Soorie Posted 5 October 2024 Posted 5 October 2024 He’d send a glass eye to sleep. Cut our losses now. Thank you for your service Mr Cooper, here’s a few million £ to soften the blow.

Definitely agreed - the combination of Hermansen and Vardy's finishing vs Spurs and Palace, plus one snatched half chance by Stephy vs Everton (after Cooper decided early doors that he didn't even rate him and shouldn't start) are the only thing that got us the points we have. We could very easily be sat on 0 points now. 1
