honeybradger Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Best manager we have had in a while. This strategy of leaving our Fatawu/Mavididi on the bench and have them force their way into the side has seen them perform to new levels. 3
phoneticerror Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 He still needs to go. That wasn’t due to tactics.
The Doctor Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 won despite his best efforts. Like **** me, how can you supposedly have watched our games last season, see Southamptons very obvious weaknesses and get it so badly wrong. Sure, his subs did change the game, but they were necessary because he put us in that position with dogmuck tactics and benching Fatawu for no explainable reason. Get him gone still.

cityfanlee23 Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 If Cooper kept playing the same way, but brought Fatawu and Ricardo in, most of this forum would be able to get fully behind the bloke, because we might actually go into half time drawing, or god forbid winning from time to time.

Lionator Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Imagine us winning a premier league game 3-2 after being 2 down and your first reaction is to come on here and want the manager sacked 🤣🤣🤣 1
winteriscoming Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Still want him gone. Tactically clueless and getting results despite him not because of him. 1
danhaw Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Great win, great turnaround. Copper is a tactical genius and such a good looking bloke. Up the Citeh

We need to be ready to drop him if results start to match performances (mostly). Hopefully he'll start playing Fatawu and stop playing 9 defensive players and it can be onwards and upwards.
RowlattsFox Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Take a lucky Cooper this season. There is a chance we can be shit but get a fair amount of points in the next week. What will it take for Cooper to get any credit?

hejammy Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Still Cooper out. We've been here. Everyone knows Fatawu needs to start. He hasn't learned from the first 8 games then he isn't going to change.
safetosurfthisbeach Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Surely, the "Cooper out" brigade will get behind the manager and team now? 1 3

Nobody on this forum is a pro manager and all of us can see Fatawu should be on. You can't really credit a manager for bringing on a player who should never be on the bench. It's these same mistakes every week, the same mistakes that he will make next match too, not everyone is as awful as Southampton.
LinekersLugs Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Huge question is will a lucky bad manager keep us up ? it might

It doesn't matter what he does I'm afraid, some fans think he is clueless when he's actually far from it! 1 1 1

Like we can criticise him without wanting him immediately sacked.
lcfcbluearmy Posted 19 October 2024 Posted 19 October 2024 Good win! Now sack Cooper and get a manager who knows what he is doing in to build on that result 2

Enzo was never convincing, Cooper is a doing a much job for me than Enzo would have. 7
