Sitting in a traffic queue on the way out of Old Trafford..

It feels like the players aren’t playing for the club, badge, city, fans etc.

Theyre good individually. (Maybe that’s an overstatement). Just shite as a team. And that’s solely down to the manager.

It’s as if they don’t understand the time, money and effort us as fans put in. It’s frustrating when they give us a performance like that.

Go after Potter and settle for Ruud

I would take Van Nistlerooy.

He's clearly leaving United based on his reaction today and was excellent at PSV. He also knows this league very well and he's a big name, which our unimaginative board seem to like. Could be a good appointment by accident.

It took Top about 8 months to act on Rodgers well after we knew he was a busted flush.

Let's see what our chairman has learned ....

The difference here is Rodger’s had actually achieved thing with us, so earned some grace(way too much was given) potter hasn’t earned any.

We have been struggling for consistency all season. Well done Cooper you achieved it today, we were hopeless and never looked like scoring for the whole 96 minutes against a bang average United side who would have been turned over by anyone decent.

I think you mean Cooper?

I feel for you - I knew this would be dogshite and decided to sit it out but I really feel for you as the manager is selling us a pup

Top needs to see the natural conclusion to leaving him in charge for any longer and get shot ASAP

We're repeating the same things every week on here. We'll be saying the exact same thing when we lose to Chelsea next week. So bored of this club.

Cooper was doomed before he started really, 10/13 managers who have gone on to manage a “rival” club from their previous job have all failed to better their previous record in the premier league.

Add to the mix a complete change of style from the previous Enzo ball and the purse strings being tightened from FFP, it was such a terrible appointment in the first place.

Well maybe Top will actually watch our next game and realize what we had in Enzo and compare that to what we have now in cooper and see the obvious.

these players used to beam about Enzo like he was a cult leader. They believed in him and his methods and would fight for the cause win or lose. Cooper does not have that aura or the methods to persuade.

its ineffective whatever he maybe preaching . This gig is not for him he should step down.

I am sure most fans would too; trouble is I am not sure he would take City. Given the way Man United's form (and structure as a team) has turned round since he took over (ok 2 games were against a poor City so perhaps not a proper reflection of his ability), he has done his profile a lot of good) If he does leave United, I am sure he would be wanting a bigger club than a struggling Leicester.

Don't think we can judge Ruud on 2 games against us, didn't see anything great tactically. We just let there good players have pots at goal like they are in training.

It isn't even just Enzo. The club has favoured a particular style for nearly a decade now, certainly since at least the Puel days.

Cooper's style is so antithetical to that of his last three or four predecessors, a style that brought us an FA Cup, a Community Shield, several European campaigns and some of the best football in our history, that the appointment is all the more baffling. More baffling still is how the board can't see it that the appointment is a duff one.

Very few managers walk away & lose the contract pay out money. Top will have to strap on a set & pull the trigger himself.!!!

His record at PSV is perhaps a better barometer, and it's pretty decent.
