How is this result a ringing endorsement for him staying? Personally I think the lineup was correct - we’ve given them 2 shocking goals (which we regularly do with different lineups). Why are people so reactionary instead looking at things in a bit of depth. I think he’s generally a poor manager. The lineup was the best we have though. Edited 25 October 2024 by Kitchandro
Swarles Barkley Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 On step forward, 2 steps back. Regardless of the mistakes which shouldnt fall on the manager, the fact its been 70mins and we have had one chance at home to a rival is pretty appalling 2
FoxesWalk Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 All three goals have been stupid individual errors, sometimes the players are to blame. This is the lineup and more or less system people on here have been begging for, and yet arguably our worst attacking performance so far, and riddled with stupid defensive mistakes. 3
Muzzy_no7 Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Luck has ran out tonight. Has to go during next International break 2
Popular Post sdb Posted 25 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 25 October 2024 What worries me is that I genuinely don't think there is a philosophy, or even a set up or game plan. I imagine him selecting an 11 and telling them to "get out there and give it your all". He's a dinosaur 6
Dmitry Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 (edited) One can surely rely on Faes to produce something so spectacularly-stupid that it leaves you speechless. Edited 25 October 2024 by Dmitry

He's a dinosaur He talks about “the plan” yet I can’t think of a recent manager who’s been as bland and void of a clear plan.

Doesn't deserve a game longer otherwise we have another Rodgers situation where we leave it too late and go down anyway. 1
foxfanazer Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Absolutely no chance he's sacked anytime soon 2 1

Agree with your reasoning and applaud it...please tell the Cooper outers to be as fair minded.
Popular Post SecretPro Posted 25 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 25 October 2024 Picked the line-up we all wanted, probably through pressure, but has no real idea why that's the line-up we wanted, how it works or what the system is. You know you're shit when you're 1-3 down and bringing on Soumare. 5
Finnegan Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 It's not the best look that the biggest cheer Cooper has got all season is from the away fans winning 1 - 3 1
SafewayFox Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Only having one shot on target in 85+ minutes of football is on the manager. You're at home and against a local rival. I agree that he can’t account for individual errors but he hasn’t set them up to create chances at home, that’s a manager issue. 2

Fox85 Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Absolute dog shit long drive back I guess. Cooper needs to go

He's tried to play a more expansive game today and it's proven that we just aren't good enough to do that in this league. We have a couple of steady mid table players, competition winners in defence and an excellent keeper. This is where we're at.
LVFox Posted 25 October 2024 Posted 25 October 2024 Major worry is that every match we seem to be awful for one half, in 4 matches we could easily have conceded 3 or 4 in one half of each match. 3
