Sorry but this is just giving the idiot more excuses.

He’s been chairman when we sacked 30 year plus physio Dave Rennie. Last summer both Sadler and Stowell who had been coaches here for years were let go. Eduardo Macia left the club after some very successful years as we couldn’t offer him any sort of promotion (which he deserved) due to Rudkin.

There have been a number of unsung and competent staff members let go due to (rumoured) concerns.

He hasn’t had any issue with those.

The difference between Vichai and Top - we lost Walsh and that summer pissed Vichai off so much, he ran an actual review and asked the employees to bring him a genuine replacement - the club delivered Macia. He knew Puel was on his last legs and the club identified Rodgers long before.

Under Top, we sacked Rodgers so late we brought in league one manager Smith and his mate to use the golf course.

The problems start and finish with his incompetence.

Vichai resisted giving Ranieri full control of the club when he was arguably the most famous man in football at the time

He also went against the dressing room in getting rid of Shakespeare

Top gave Rodgers full control from day one letting him bring his own recruitment head in and gut what had been built up

Odd phrasing.  He achieved the goal he was set and went to a bigger job and we got compensated. How were their fingers burnt?

With how much he challenged the way the club was set up not sure a few at the club like being challenged or questioned

I wouldn’t mind if there wasn’t many decent options available but there are so many better managers out there. It’s shocking how badly the club is run. We are so reactive instead of being proactive.

he fully tainted his father's legacy 2 years ago when he let Rodgers run the club into the ground and destroy a decades worth of progress. If he's still concerned about that he needs to get his head out of his arse

No he tainted his farthers legacy 6 months ago. Bringing over all those no marks and giving them priority over us.

OK we are on the 300 mark. Has any manager got close to this in 6 months.

He has to be our least wanted manager of all time. His football backs that up. Well the lack of it does.

the club had there fingers burnt by Enzo, a highly ambitious and progressive coach who demanded the highest standards across the whole club and I am not sure certain individuals welcomed being challenged to raise the standards, it’s all too nice and comfortable. Appointing Cooper allows them to continue to run the club in the way the deem appropriate without fear of recrimination.

Excellent analysis. This is the reason why companies decline and go bust, when they are run by inept individuals higher up and are only concerned about their own positions and feel threatened by upcoming new people who want to be successful and employ different strategies to themselves in organisations. So those new employees get pissed off and eventually leave to go somewhere else

There's so many cases of it happening in the business world particularly manufacturing and retail and those companies don't exist anymore 😕

He did want the job.

If I recall correctly (as reported by RL) negotiations were continuing right up until the evening of Wednesday 19th June but something in the contract was a sticking point and the deal fell through. I think someone on here said it was something to do with the hierarchy structure or his backroom staff.

We then appointed Steve "not 3rd choice" Cooper the next day.

Suggests to me he, therefore, didn’t want the job…..

He’s able to type, so probably not…

I am just a supporter, just like you. I just want to give the man a chance. If the table was end of season he will have some his job.

How Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Man Utd exit has left Premier League manager looking over his shoulder after stuttering start

Finally some news re Cooper in the main stream media… but a bit concerning as it says Cooper will be given to the end of the year by that time we could be cut adrift in the bottom 3.

‘Experts say’-  they’ve no clue whatsoever how much time Cooper will get.
