If we had sacked BR in early Jan and made better signings in that window we would have stayed up imo

Definitely. We were a last minute Nick Pope  save from Castagnes volley in our penultimate game from staying up. And that was after stinking the league out for 99% of that season, If we’d have got rid of BR when we should have (Brighton + Spurs A in September) we’d have stayed up, no doubt in my mind

We had no right to win that game. 1 shot in the 93rd minute in a must win game. We deserved to go down as a result of that.

I know we are rehashing old ground and what's done is done. But, that relegation is still so frustrating. Previously, we went down because the team just didn't have enough, but that squad did. It was so avoidable. The sliding doors moment was September 2022. The postponement of the Villa game due to the Queen's death. We were both awful and in terrible league positions. Villa sacked Gerrard and the transformation is clear. We did nothing until it was far too late and went down.

That 1 was of the most revolting games of football I’ve watched as well, stinking

5 Live getting more radio commentaries until 28/29.

Seems like they have more 5.30 Saturday games and both Sunday 2pm and 4pm slots.

Think Talksport had the 5.30pm one currently.

I thought they already did have all those?

Yeah maybe, I wasn't sure but they've made it sound like they're getting more than current contract

Newcastle had no reason to chase the game and we just sat in a low block for 90 minutes.  If we had just gone after them after 70 minutes or so I think we'd have had a chance. There was clear tension in the ground because if we'd have gone after them and won it would have meant they'd have had to go and get something at Chelsea to get top 4.

Best place for football. People moan all the time about Sky, and their pundits/commentators, everything about BBC 5 Live is much better.

I can never get a decent picture though

Agree mate. It's levels ahead of other platforms.

The last time they lost by this margin was when we beat them 2-5 at their place :) :)

I think if you look at Pep's five biggest loses at Manchester City we inflicted two of them.

The game you are referring too and also the 4-2 under Ranieri.

Hadn´t Ranieri been sacked before this 4-2 match? Thought it was Shakespeare ....

No it was Ranieri. I tend to try and forget about league games that season but the Man City game was about 5 games before Ranieri led us on that 6 game run of not even scoring a single goal.
