Isak scored in 6 in a row now, his upcoming PL games: Spurs, Wolves, Bournemouth, Southampton, Fulham, Man City.

They've got FA Cup and League Cup in the time though so not sure where his minutes will be prioritised.

Generally the odds are a good indicator and I've been tracking them this season for likelihood on relegation. This past fortnight really has been terminal. It's flicked between us and Wolves for 17th/18th for weeks but we're now 2/7 to go down - implied 78% probability that we're relegated. Bookies think Ipswich will go too but are likelier to survive than us.

Southampton are gone. 1/33 in December (implied probability of 97% they drop lol) - one of the worst Premier League sides ever they are. And yet we only beat them because of a huge stroke of luck with the officials.

I just cannot see nine or ten games where we get points, much less six wins.

Pit in my stomach knowing it'll be Forest away that gets us mathematically gone

Or us mathematically safe and then mathematically out of the run for Europe

We’ve really got to get an unexpected win. I’m not totally giving up until after the January window, because that can have a huge impact on the season.

But, it’s the alignment and disillusion within the club I worry about, we’re not aligned, unlike Ipswich who are all fighting for one another, and we seemingly aren’t, as a club we’re just sailing with no direction.

We’ve finally ended up where we’ve deserved to be first half of the season. Let’s hope we can pull our socks up and get ourselves out of this mess. Without a serious injection of quality in January, it certainly is going to be a massive uphill struggle. Wolves and Ipswich finding a bit of form at just the wrong time for us

Lost 4 in a row, 3 without scoring, rivals picking up points and now in 19th place with an atrocious goal difference having conceded (joint) most goals in the league. Not a lot to be positive about is there?

I just think the 'we're down' proclamation are a bit premature given we have a new manager. It's almost like all those shooting their mouths off will face no consequences if they are wrong, but will shoot their mouths off again if they are right...

..I mean, December results and current league standing leave nothing to be excited about...

True.... but we have got a new manager and the performances in the last two games give some glimmer of hope, don't they?

I hate this, be realistic. Let’s mark this post for 4 months time and we will know who was being negative and who was being lost positive for the sake of it with no real idea what was happening. I hope we stay up but wake up.

It's funny, because I hate people screaming how bad everything is hen we have a new manager finding his feet, and the last two performances have definitely been better.

I didn't mark any posts from last season that said maresca should have been sacked and we definitely weren't getting promoted....

If the club is serious about staying in the premier league they will stick their fingers up to PSR and go on and spend over £150 million in January.

Get quite a few talent through the door achieve safety and deal with a points deduction next season.

Atleast we would have a squad capable of giving us a chance.

I can honestly see us going down to league one now the Efl are going to be giving us the biggest sanction in championship history if we go down this year that will relegated us

Exactly. One weekend can change the picture, a couple of good results can completely change the course of the season.

Theres loads of factors still left….. if we can strengthen, perhaps Wolves and Everton can’t….. Cunha at some point will be banned so that will seriously harm Wolves, they’ve done well since Vitor came in, but they could easily lose their next three, as could Ipswich and Everton, so this will ebb and flow. January and February are the key months, this is where we need to try and get points on the board.

To be honest, I'm not bothered what others do. Ipswich can survive for all I care. I'm just focused on us.

Wins against Palace, Ipswich, Southampton and Everton are VITAL. Honestly, if we get those, I think we stay up.

Think we're gonna need more than 4 more wins to stay up. That's also on the basis that the 4 sides you mention don't pick up further points in games they're expected to or not...

I does make you sick really seeing that Notts Forest did this, took the deduction and are now in the CL places. Makes you wonder what the point of trying to stick to the rules is.

Whereas we'll take the interesting approach of hamstringing ourselves by trying to comply, breaking anyway, and most likely getting relegated.

We have to get out of our heads that everyone else is going to lose every week. The last set of results have had Southampton lose (Palace win of course), Everton lose, Wolves draw and Ipswich win. We can be expecting everyone in the bottom 6 to lose every week, especially when 2 of them are playing each other! Also, we are at that stage of the season where Spurs start playing like plonkers (and have no center backs), and Enzo's no 'plan b' starts to take shape.

Lets start getting points and wins. Do that, rather than worry about the other 5 times in the bottom 6.

Anything is possible and I think we've improved a bit since Ruud came in.

I think we can survive but it will take a massive effort from everyone,  from Top to the fans.

I'm not negative but I know what I've seen the 1st half of the season and feel that we deserve to be where we are, based on the horrific performances, so far.

I stand by my Ipswich have been better than us , so far, even without last night's result, but things can change and we have to hope it does.

I remember people were laughing at Forest after we thumped them 2 years ago but they had the character ,and some luck, in putting a good run together,  with the help of their home fans, and stayed up comfortably, whilst we went to pieces and dropped.
