Can’t imagine anything more insulting as an Arsenal fan/player than Arne Slot getting on the decks at Ocean beach with two games left in the season lol Wonderful stuff!

Best wishes to Awoniyi, nasty incident

Ruptured intestine has a surprisingly high fatality rate. I hope he recovers.

This.

Poor guy had a horrible painful looking injury and is seeing it being used as an excuse for the fat guy's nasty behaviour. Must be a bit sickening for the poor guy that.

worse part with this, Awoniyi was called offside as well, and it wasnt even close either

numerous managers have said this late offside stuff could/will lead to a bad injury and it has

Medical staff, officiating team and management have a lot to answer for, frankly.

Let's hope he pulls through.

yes and no, medical staff more so than management, and the officials are sadly doing what the rules say, even if the rules are broken as hell and this incident sadly shows why

the more that comes out about Awoniyi stuff, the worse it seems to be, rivalry aside wish the lad a speedy recovery and hope his next surgery goes well

I really hope the incident wakes the idiotic rule makers to wake up, because many a manager has sad this offside rule could lead to a serious injury and it has

Kind hope the player sues the PGMOL etc, but i doubt that will be allowed/done

Sian Massey must be in bits over this, but she was only doing what she was told........Feel for both her and Awoniyi.

Assistant referees can still flag straight away if they are confident the player was offside.

It's easy slowing it down and looking at a still image, but in a split second she has to have her eye on on the ball being played, Coady and Awoniyi who are running in opposite directions, and be 100% sure Awoniyi was offside as it was played.

Nowhere near as easy as people are making out.

Come off it in real time it looked miles off. She doesn’t have to be 100% sure either as var is there to bail them out.
She also shouldn’t feel as though it’s her fault cause she’s just following the procedure, but hopefully this will lead to a rule change because as many have said it’s been coming, unfortunately it’s been proven right with an incident as bad as this one. Hope the lad makes a full and quick recovery

Seems weird to put out a PR piece on how your owner is so wise and passionate when you’ve got a player in a coma lol

And it's worked a treat because their deluded bunch are so intent on defending him that they can't see how corrupted it is, it's generated anger within their fan base over a freak accident.
