End of the day, need to worry about ourselves and stop worrying about forest winning. Got to take ownership, players need to show up and give a shit (not literally,  they've done that too much already this season). Perform and beat the teams in front of you.

Ruud can only do so much,  players gotta step up.

I will never not worry about Forest winning.   It's in my DNA.

There are good stories and not so good stories but the forest one has got to be up there as one of the worst. An owner that made his worth through heroin trafficking into Europe, that systemically helps Putin evade sanctions and destroy Ukranian statehood and who spits in the face of referees. He’s eventually thrown enough 💩 that’s stuck to produce a team that can reproduce prime Burnley Dycheball, and solidify in the top half of the Prem.

The good news is, unlike the likes of Brighton, they don’t have the structure to sustain it in the long term, and the system is designed to screw them over eventually. So they will crash and burn, however god forbid they don’t have too much success until that moment comes. Despite all that, pundits will start to suggest how well run they are and how Nuno is a genius, they’ll soon forget about them.

thats true tbf, they was really throw shit and the way and hope it stinks with transfers on their first year back; as you said, I dont think theyll get much success from it long terms, not like theyll win the league or FA Cup, or league cup, so depends what they call success

Their owner didn't dick about and waste time continuing with an underperforming manager overseeing a decent squad and left enough time to find Nuno and not Dean Smith.

what happens when you look to improve instead of sit on your hands like ours did

Forest are only doing well because the league is 90% toss. That Forest team wouldn’t have laid a glove on us under Rodgers at the start of his tenure…… they’re profiting from the abhorrent standard that is in the league this year.

Being organised and well drilled when you’re surrounded by average to below average teams, makes a difference.

Ive not watched a single team this season and thought afterwards “bloody hell they were good”…. It’s been a poor a league as it’s been for years, and it’s been on the cards now for a few seasons, I think this is resonating through European football in general, we just seem to be in an era of not very exciting football, producing some fairly ordinary players.

They have nasty fixtures in February and March. That's when they drop off.

Are they though? They’re the only team to have beaten Liverpool this season, they’ve drew at Chelsea who are 1st and 2nd respectively. They’ve just beat Villa as well.

People said/say this about us when we won the league and we get so annoyed at it. I don’t like them at all, but this season they’re a good side.

Nah, they are well drilled and well organised…. I will give them that, but in my opinion it’s mainly down to the overall lack of quality in the league…. I didn’t think they looked good against us, they just knew what they were doing, I’ve not been impressed with Brighton, I didn’t think Villa looked anything special against us, didn’t think Chelsea looked particularly good, and didn’t think Newcastle even today looked that good.

There isn’t a single team in this league bar probably Liverpool (on their day) that has anything about them, I don’t know if it’s just me falling out of love with football, but when you think of some of the teams of yesteryears like the great Real Madrid sides….. I don’t know I’m probably waffling, and probably turning into a disgruntled, eternally pissed off Middle Ages man….. who happens to work with a few forest fans, whom are complete bellends.

Our Rodgers team shits all over this current Forest team. We were beating teams 3/4/5 nil while being the best defence in the league. It was a stupidly good side in the era of 100 point chasing Man City and Liverpool. We'd have been genuine title contenders in any other era. That side in 2019 or so was genuinely a better team than the one that won the league.

Wasn’t disputing that, more so that “Forest are only having a good season because 90% of the league are average”.

But that’s half of why teams do well, because they know what they’re doing and are well drilled and organised. That’s what makes a good team.

I too wasn’t impressed by Brighton.

Seems a little bitter, yes there may be factors light years out of a forest fans control but this is football and you can't begrudge those fans this period of "success".

Going by the MOTD highlights looks like Wolves totally dominated but don’t think that was the case at all ?

Might be a few punishments handed out .

Bear in mind they decided to ignore PSR and invest heavily, that combined with a astute manager is now paying off for them.

The league in my opinion is also now of a higher standard compared to 4-5 years ago, especially on the managerial side.  One of the reasons why when we stood still we got relegated and are now struggling with a squad which is still mostly ex EPL players.

Its so easy to see our problems, we were and still are evidence of the KDH sale, relying on repeatedly selling first teamer's to pass PSR, inevitably it was all too much and our squad was weakened too much, we then refused to fire a manager because of an obsession with PSR and style of play, have consistently over paid wages, and dismantled our sports science, scouting setup.

wolves at times look decent this season but they seem to lose their heads really quick

like after the West Ham then yesterday

though the last 2 games theyve had no luck at all, West Ham with the decisions then the Ipswich 1st yesterday,

couldnt write it really

Do i agree the FA will probably charge RAN and Cunha for how they was after the game, hopefully before next weeks game

GON will get the boot too, probably today

Yeah Forest cheated the system and got away with the points deduction last season since the 3 promoted sides were so poor. Fast forward a season and they got to start with a clean slate and decent amount of saleable assets on their books. Throw in a decent manager and the gamble paid off since they look like a top half team.

Hang on, what? Wasn't aware of this

Potential caretaker plus Ait Nouri and (maybe) Cunha out. Need to come out of the blocks fast on Sunday and out then under the cosh. The game is there for the taking if we're willing to step up.

It's more likely they will be one of those teams that has a good start then falls off in the second half of the season, which is usually the case.. best they can hope for is 6th
