This guy should never play again for us. I'd rather we play Faes as a cdm then him. The Wrexham midfield totally over powered us, as soon as he came on.

Even by Skipp's standards, he was bad last night. He came on at 68 mins and gets booked at 73 for pulling Broadhead back after being turned. That type of foul, 5 minutes after coming on, is telling; he wasn't on Broadhead's level, he knew it and after getting booked he was too scared to make a tackle or get too close to anyone. 

 

Broadhead had only been on for 2 minutes himself so likely a tactical response to our changes. This would make Skipp a liability now too - other managers can target him as a weak point even when he's subbed on and 'fresh'. 

 

A loan to Turkey, Saudi or MLS cannot come soon enough for everyone involved.

Such a nothing footballer, doesn't attack or defend well and just means our midfield ends up suffering as a result. Such a frustrating player to watch

Yep. I can’t believe others are laying all the blame on vesty here. Vesty certainly got turned and could have done better but if you look back at what happened Skipp ball watching and jogs back aimlessly whilst clearly allowing broadhead to run in front of him into the box. He should have covered his man and tracked back. Instead he makes a last minute attempt to catch up and broadhead gets to the ball first. Not the first time this has happened and costing us goals and vital points.

2025 Hide and seek champion!! Whenever we’ve got the ball he’s hid behind a couple of opposing players… then when we’ve not got it the areas hes supposed to be covering/the players he should be picking up are all open as he’s nowhere to be seen! Honestly one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen Junior Lewis > Oliver Skipp
