I remember Ellis Simms’ Coventry debut at our place and he played like he was 18 stone and hungover.

It was a dreadful appearance but we can’t write him off already ffs. Crazy idea, but maybe we should get behind our players? I can guarantee he’ll get the moans and groans as soon as he next comes on.

Booing Reid coming on, cheering Ayew going off. It’s pathetic support.

Edouard, BDR and Ayew - FFS we shouldn’t be booing these players. We should be booing the recruitment team. God knows what they were on!

Yes, he's elite. But it’ll be difficult competing for his signature once the bigger clubs start circling.

Not sure if Swindon Town is really a bigger club than us.

I wouldn't blame the recruitment team, BDR and Ayew are both Cooper signings, supposedly our team needed more PL experience. Edouard is a desperation signing, because nobody else wanted to come here. On paper it didn't look too bad, but so far he's been a disaster. We can only hope he gets better.

He got 19 goals last season, if Edouard can get close to half of that - I’d be chuffed.

13 goals in 46 Championship games last season.

1 in 9 so far this season.

He is tripe.

Six in the FA Cup too. Anyway, I’m not saying he’s even any good, but he turned out better than that debut suggested.

The general point is that Edouard won’t be that bad every week. Vardy can’t play 90 mins every week, so let’s not jeer when he next comes onto the pitch.

15 goals in 55 games is exactly what I expected of him after his miserable game against us.

Edouard is a 26 year old experienced player playing for a PL side, Simms was 22 years old playing for a championship side.

Simms has more margin for not performing to a good standard because he is young and playing at a lower level. Players at Edouard's age usually stay around the level that they are at, they dont suddenly come good. I also wouldn't want Simms playing for us any time in the near future either, he's pretty bad.

I don’t want us to sign Ellis Simms either lol

It was just a general point that he’s improved since his hideous debut.

Edouard isn’t as bad as Saturday suggested. 7 goals in 30 games last season but he only started 18 of those games.

He was dreadful on Saturday and he’s no world beater, but this “he’s shit, send him back” is too early.

He’ll get booed onto the pitch before long.

Definitely needs confidence and an attacking squad. He looks like a front foot player and not someone who is going to create a moment of magic, rather be in a position to finish that moment of magic, based on our performances so far I'm holding judgement since whenever he's come on we've really lacked any sort of creative flair and have tended to be on the back foot. I'd prefer we start him and bring Vardy on late than the other way around. The weekend was a perfect example, Vardy ran about for a bit, wasted a massive chance, and benefitted from us somewhat having a go, by the time Edouard was brought on we had 15 mins left and were pinned in our own box.

If we continue to use him this way, not much will change.

Should have just used Cannon

He’s a bit shit too, but you’re right, would have saved us money and time.

Yeah from 4 goals one week to a blank against an average Swans side. Feels like for the most part he'll be working with scraps for Stoke.

This comment kind of contradicts itself, you don’t blame recruitment  because nobody else wanted to come here.

So no other footballers from world football wanted to come here?

Or maybe the recruitment team were unable to find suitable players
