National League were as good bribed themselves - they got a tidy sum of money to take part in some nonsense National League Cup feature U21s PL teams.

Think League 1/2 teams were partly glad they didn't have host replays in Round 1+2 which lost them money

Yes basically what they said here .

Great result for Richy Wellens and Leyton Orient, beating Derby to set up a tie with Man City.

Seems a good young manager, working his way up the right way and gaining good experience.

Didn't realise that they had gone out til this evening. I wasn't surprised. I can't ever remember them ever having a decent run in the cup....so, boring bastard that I am, I just checked wiki

They haven't reached the quarter finals since 1997. 28 years FFS. Without a cup run. And they consider themselves as the same sort of club as us! And as someone else on here pointed.out not so long ago on another thread, many of them consider (without any irony) themselves bigger.

28 fcking years 😂😂

Even Leyton Orient plays more direct and passionate football than us. The majority of our players should be ashamed and just resign from the sport. They can go play netball or something.

You thinkk they'd be better shooting at a smaller target? :P

This is a belter of an FA Cup match. Orient with an absolute classic of a goal (which will be played over and over if they hang on)- now with their backs against the wall defending like their lives depend on it. Man City still looking vulnerable to a counter attack.

Man City have a few things to blame Wellens for this afternoon

I've only just switched on. Has he pointed at nothing in particular yet?

It's the kind of game where the home team tires after about 60-65 mins and then the quality of Man City shows. Hopefully not today and another goal for Orient makes it very interesting!

They are already looking quite knackered as the 1st half comes to an end. They will need another goal I fear.  But there is something I find hugely entertaining about last ditch bodies on the line defending.
