Immense today. Surely on that performance he is a nailed on starter? Hopefully with Nelson. Can't recall last time i felt our back line was this solid. And yes i know it was only a friendly but still.

Too good. I'm surprised there's not a few Italian teams sniffing around offering to pay a chunk of his wages.

Really hope Okoli gets a decent run of games now. He's a bit rough around the edges on the ball but his pace and physicality is just what we need. Plus he seems to be a good lad who is up for the fight. I know that should be a given, but with some of this squad it really isn't.

I really rate him. Wish he'd got more game time last season so we didn't have to watch the usual duds play week in, week out. But new manager, fresh start and a run of games will show what he can do. Saw enough today to see he's going to be an excellent CB in the Championship.

A Nelson and Okoli partnership would be the one for me. No doubt they'll have some bad games but 100% preferable to the alternatives

Given Vesty gave a few opportunities away himself from lax passing and also got done a few times, you'd imagine that Okoli starts and if Nelson is 100% it's between him and Faes to partner the Italian.

The options are usually pretty good because they have no intent of ever paying it

Would love see our centre backs chip in with some goals this season just like Walsh and Elliott did. Okoli has the power and size to really attack the ball in the opposition's penalty area.
