420Hashish Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 3 points if Russell Martin is still their manager by then. 1 1
Unabomber Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 I can’t see beyond a humbling afternoon for cooper
Pliskin Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 100% losing this. Going away to a team that hasn’t won yet? What could possibly go wrong. 3
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 6 October 2024 Popular Post Posted 6 October 2024 If Cooper REALLY did watch our games from last season then he should already know the perfect way to be able to beat them Do I think he will set us up in a similar way to be able to exploit Southampton? Probably not... 22 1
Bourbon Fox Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 (edited) They looked pretty tasty at times yesterday against the Arse Edited 7 October 2024 by Bourbon Fox
foxfanazer Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 We'll shit em! Russel Martin is the only manager in the league worse than our own 1

Jobyfox Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 I’m fully expecting the “Cooper Out” thread to go “hot” after this one
trooky Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 We had a stronger team last year and won 9-1 over both games. We still have a stronger squad, we'll see the effect Cooper has had because I don't believe we'll match the 4-1 this time.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 I can see this having similar vibes and outcome to when we travelled to Palace under Roy Hodgson when they basically hadn't won since he had acne.

I don't think we even had a shot on goal against them in the last game of 22/23. 1
ClaphamFox Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 They’ll absolutely batter us. Our best hope is that they have an off day and we keep it down to 6-0 or 7-0. 3
whoareyaaa Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 Start Bilal over Ayew let’s see what he is about same team otherwise

AyewJoking Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 We are better but a Cooper safety first approach against a team at home, desperate for a win, who likely see us as a 3 pointer anyway....... Got me feeling I'd be satisfied with a point but pull your finger out Steve, we need to win this too!!

Corky Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 If losing means we get Bruss in as our manager I would take it.
Wymsey Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 (edited) 1-4. Need a big scoreline win, and think this is the game where things will start to click a bit more - plus the confidence from the Bournemouth win. Edited 6 October 2024 by Wymsey 1
HankMarvin Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 3 points and Russell Martin can console himself in Lucy Pinders jugs 3
jayfox26 Posted 6 October 2024 Posted 6 October 2024 We can take draws away from home so long as we can win our home games against the teams in the bottom half. We failed to beat Everton at home but beating Bournemouth means this isn't a must win and a win is more important for them than us. This could work in our favour, as if Martin goes on the offensive like we know he likes to, they will leave gaps galore at the back and we can pound them on the counter. Would like to see Fatawu and Mavi either side of Vardy with Buonanotte behind but doubt Cooper would be so brave. Let them come at us and hit them on the counter with the pace of Fatawu and Mavi 1st half, then if we are winning, bring on Ayew and BDCR to shithouse them. 3

Goodnight wasn’t in the team in that game though maybe play them together along with Mav and Vardy basically drop Ayew and give us more options going forward. Edited 6 October 2024 by whoareyaaa
