Start Bilal over Ayew let’s see what he is about same team otherwise

If he pulls a performance like the one against Everton, then I'd rather start my dad.

Fatawu had the game of his life against these. Got to start surely. Need to press their defence to within an inch of their lives.

Mads

JJ Faes Okoli Vik

Skipp Ndidi

Fatawu Buonanatte Mavididi

Vardy

This is the one 🤞🏻

Cooper has a good record of improving young talent. Hoping that he'll have him up to speed as the season goes on.

If that happened we'd have Reid starting which is even worse!

Let's hope they are out shopping together then.

These are 1 point and scored 4 goals levels of shit. Their GD is -11. We are the next level up from the turd that is Martins Southampton. We are a nasty dog poo compared to their rancid Cow dung.

But, you have to press these, and press them hard, as we did at the KP last season. Martin isn't going to adapt his style for anyone, and a defensive setup will play into their hands. We have to be swarming over their playing out of the back and getting them to pass sideways / backwards. We have to go for this one.

Win it, and we find ourselves in a pretty decent position all of a sudden. Bournemouth have Arsenal so we could jump ahead of them, and Wolves have Man City.  Great opportunity this. Got to take it.

Martin has the Kompany handbook on how to be inflexible but look eager, get stuffed every week, drop onto a Munich plum job. Trouble is he didn't go to the school of Pep, so he'll end up at Derby.

Given we once managed to get a record away win at their place and then lose 1-2 at home in the same season, nothing would surprise me.

yeah its like one season we win there, the next we lose etc as you said(recent times anyway)why im thinking we'll lose

You are right but I just don't see Cooper doing that. I think we will be defensive and like you say this will play right into their hands.

They will have all the time to play out from the back and grow in confidence while we desperately try to not concede and hope to score, against the run of play.

This could be the game when our luck finally runs out.

wishful thinking.  It'll be the same team that started against Bournemouth.  Unless there are injuries to certain players whilst on international duty.

I mean we should be beating these to be honest. Southampton look worse than they did last season. We had the much better team last season and that is still the case

But we are Leicester City we don’t do things easily !

He'll end up motorboating Lucy Pinder which is all he's probably bothered about

It’s ironic, on the Southampton forum they’re desperate for a long ball specialist such as Cooper, fat Sam to come in because of their suicidal tactics thus far and our fans are desperate for a passing obsessive such as Martin.

It was very telling that Southampton fans were saying that they were undone by Arsenal when Martin reverted back to their normal style of play after staring off with a low block.

Just shows the fickleness of fans these days.

It's not fickleness but playing the right tactics to get the best or of your team.

Might be a bit of uproar on here when Carlos Corberan is in the Saints dugout...

I thought his name would tail off now West Brom haven't won in three games (including being 2 up in one and losing).

I doubt very much that he will be in charge much longer. Assuming that we beat them he will be done.

Which is a worry - as they might get someone decent in. It would be early enough for them to turn their season around. Really need him there as long as possible.

I think he'll get the game against us and if we win that will be him gone.

Word today was that Des Buckingham is ready to take over at WBA with Carlos lined up to go Saints. Couldn't find anything to back that up anywhere but the info came from someone who has good connections to Oxford staff.
