Remember when we used to moan about Barnes, Maddison and Tielemans.... Would kill to have those players now. It's criminal how far we've fallen in the last 3 or 4 years

You mean the squad that took us down and jumped ship at first moment to get out…

Doesn't change the fact they are all levels above what we've currently got out on the pitch

Deffo! But I’d gladly moan about their attitude toward a sinking ship they created rather than effort to get us out it.

Still, agree would much rather have them in the team today haha!

Miserable game, miserable officiating (clear penalty, even showed the foul on the big screen) miserable weather, miserable traffic and  I particularly disliked seeing Kiernan Dewsbury-hall in Chelsea kit looking miserable.

Wrong mentality from the start, just sitting back and waiting for things to happen rather than trying to play our game (whatever that is).

Being pragmatic is fine, but this is not being pragmatic, it's just waiting for the opposition to have a lull and then just randomly attacking for about 5 minutes.

We had 3 centre midfielders to their 2 and yet we were always outnumbered.

Scoreline flattered us, which has been the case in quite a few games this season.

Time for a change. Other teams around us are improving, we're going backwards

There was no where near enough controversial decisions out there for our manager to get booked again. Someone needs to talk to him about growing up.

Also, bemoaning luck ? Their winger blocked their centre mids tap in man. How much more luck do you want ??

Grand scheme of things personally not furious at that, fought well and threw a few punches of our own. A lot of gamesmanship from Chelsea, few poor decisions from the ref, but we stayed in the game until the end. Big thing for me isn’t tactical, more just that Wout Faes can’t help but do something completely ridiculous once a 90. Desperate for a centre back, remember the rumour Barca would pay 30/40m for him, I would wank with sandpaper for that offer in January

Enzo Maresca has won as many Premier League games at the King Power stadium this season as Steve Cooper (1).

The Foxes’ former manager leaves Leicester with all three points.

Steve Cooper has only won a PL game at 4 grounds!

He's mastered the art of the fronting up interview where he says something along the lines of "that's on us, we'll hold our hands up" and then goes on to complain about all the ways it was not, in fact, on us. Like a lot of people I assumed Forest's victim complex around officiating came from the owner but maybe that was not entirely the case.

I'm kinda torn because I like that they're sticking with the refs decision more when it's debatable. Which I think both Wilf and Mav's decisions were, albeit at the extreme end of debateable.

If this is a consistent thing then I'm all for it to be honest.

Quite clear that

1 The manager isn't good enough

2 The squad isn't good enough either.

3 The board are clueless and recruitment has been pretty poor once again.

We're in a mess and we can get rid of Cooper but frankly I don't think anyone keeps this lot up.  There are just too many weak players who are not of the required standard especially in defence.

The disgraceful scenes when KDH came on. Saw people smiling and clapping all whilst the most clueless performance of their own team was unfolding.

This sort of behaviour is everything that is wrong with our fanbase.

Aside from anything else, the whole pace of the game was horrendous. Ball out of play, players on the floor, ref being pendantic, slow goal kicks, slow corners. Was it just me? It was driving me mad today

Just watched the highlights as decided against going today after seeing the team sheet.

Yet again both goals conceded are shockers and goals you'd be frustrated with at school boy level. As bad as that first goal is, I'm more annoyed with the defending for the second. Watching it back Faes and VK should never play again. No idea what Faes is thinking, goes towards the ball with two players covering and leaves a huge space for Fernandez to run into. Then VK has Fernandez in his vision and simply stops tracking him.

I get that Cooper is starting to make Peter Taylor look like an absolute coaching genius, but to be fair to the bloke you could have Pep or Ancelotti in the dugout and with these brain dead players we'd still leak goals left, right, and centre, as they just make stupid decisions that no manager can plan for. The only thing you can reasonably expect of the manager is that he refuses to play these clowns again.

Today's match highlighted a number of glaring issues that are holding the team back. Physically, we seem to be at a disadvantage; there's a lack of presence to hold the ball up or fend off challenges. Technically, we're struggling to maintain possession, with few players able to control the game or make decisive passes. Without a target man up front, we have no outlet to relieve pressure, and the absence of Bouenanote leaves us lacking in creativity. Our attacking options are limited, with no real pace to break through defenses. Defensively, we remain vulnerable, and our midfield lacks the dynamism needed to compete at this level. Our full-backs also fail to contribute effectively going forward, adding to our problems. On top of that, individual errors continue to creep in. At this rate, relegation seems inevitable. Whether the manager is to blame is still unclear, but something needs to change urgently.

Stupid applauding a Leicester lad who came through the academy and played for us and actually cared, who had to be sold to balance the books by our inept board.

Should have Booed him like Fofana eh?🙄

Should have reprimanded the players for their performance rather than treating it like 'the icing on their cake.'

This KDH love in is short-sighted. He was very over-rated.

I felt numb watching that game today. Might be an age thing, but I've never felt more disconnected. Feels like the club is just drifting from one calamity to the next.

It was very much like watching us in the championship against inferior teams. Chelsea dominated the ball, knew how they wanted to play, got a bit complacent at the back towards the end of the first half, but never looked in serious danger.

Contrast that with our display. A defence that couldn’t give you the definition of what that actually means, a ball winner playing as an attacking (haha) midfielder, and no creativity due to injury, suspension etc. Expected what was served up, the only surprise is that we only conceded twice. The sooner Faes is dropped/driven back to Belgium the better, and the sooner we get hold of a manager that has a coherent plan and makes us harder to beat, the better.

He hasn’t been helped by years of poor recruitment of course, but there are coaches available out there that can actually put a coherent style of play in place and put their own identity on a team. The board need to act, but we all know they won’t.
