A high risk appointment that is going to get us relegated. All decision making from Top and Rudkin is killing this club these last few years. Any other fan base would kick up a fuss but not us - we will clap them off.

I have a season ticket but I don’t think I will go again this season until something drastic changes - either Rudkin goes or we sell up

The fact that Ruud has come in without a team around him is a huge red flag.

I think it had disaster all over it, and whilst you can't blame him for the squad we have been more or oess dreadful in every game he's been in here. Got away with it against West Ham and Brighton. Whilst we have perhaps shown a bit more going forward at times he's shown nothing to try and improve the defence. Picked the same defence every game.

I completely agree, but it’s on the club if they’ve asked him who he’s bringing with him and he’s not given a firm answer.

He's just been spanked by a team that is largely championship standard. And a manager who's had 2 days to prep

Rather have Wolves’ midfield and attackers over ours tbh. Two teams with crap defences, but in terms of ours, what can you do when they consistently make individual errors, they did it under Cooper, now the same thing under Ruud.

This defence is as bad as 03/04 when we had the likes of Scimeca, Dabizas, Heath and Thatcher.

RVN was wanted by Coventry and some team in the German 2nd division....that's how much he was in demand

Thatcher was player of the season that year!

Tactically inept how did he get the job, has come in and played the same tactics and formation which got Cooper sacked, we got a lucky win against West Ham and hard earned point against Brighton, were truly woeful against Newcastle and today he picked Ward and played Coopers tactics again allowing 3 shots on target in the 1st half which every single one of us could have told him would lead to 3 goals conceded.

2nd half he makes 4 early defensive substitutions and switches to Maresca's tactics but then only brings our brightest player Buonanotte on for the last 10 mins when chasing the game and does not bring Daka on at all.

Surely the board should have asked him in the interview if he had any tactics of his own, or did he just say he was going to copy our pervious manager.

Bit concerned that RVN looks increasingly like he's also from the Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard school of big name, but ultimately clueless managers.

Totally.

A complete on trend , cool, novelty appointment based on beating us twice with a Man United squad.

I think he will do well as a manager in the right environment but as depressing as it seems a Moyes type appointment was needed here. Fire fight and rebuild.

Tough January for him ahead. Once he gets through the horrific December.

Flavour of the month so we got him. Our board don’t look outside this division or this Country.

Hmmmm…but like Man U.

it’s not the manager. It’s the clowns in charge

rinse and repeat

Should have just stuck with cooper if you think that? lol

Garbage. Convinced if our fans picked the team and tactics today and we would have put up a better fight. Danny Ward in goal. Buonanotte coming on for the last 10 minutes in a game that is practically lost? Won't be long until he loses the dressing room.
