I’m not sure how much RVN is to blame. Our players just aren’t good enough. Ward got us relegated. Justin is dreadful. Our centre backs are lumbering oil tankers. There’s injuries all over the shop. Our recruitment has been dog sh!t. PSR has bent us over and is shafting us. It’s getting harder and harder for promoted teams to compete.

I’m going to reserve judgement until after the January window and when Mads is back. Hopefully he gets to bring in a few players he needs. Cause we friggin need some!!!

This is why those of us who were prepared to be patient with Cooper felt the way we did. Nobody, not even Pep or Klopp, could make survival easy this season. Saturday's team selection was more bemusing than even Cooper's.

We've got a poor first XI and a squad lacking depth. Our GK is, even in the manager's eyes, 3rd choice (I hope to god Stol would get the nod if fully fit).

We're not, despite the talk on here, certain to go down, 14 points after 17 games is better than the 19 after 29 games in 2014/15. It's highly unlikely we'll get to 15 before new year granted but things can change very quickly at the bottom and there's some terrible teams by EPL standards in this league.

He’ll be gone before April. The club should bring in Mark Robins. He has Pearson like building qualities. In fact, after yesterday, if RVN walked, it wouldn’t be the biggest lost. He had his shot and yesterday was a nail in the coffin. Start planning for the championship.

He picked Ward, yet Iversen is sat on the bench. Our best player Buonanotte is sat on the bench again. He picks the two slowest centre backs to play together.

Our players have not been good enough all season. They were never good enough, two years ago this set of players got relegated. But these excuses weren't made for Cooper and they shouldn't be made for Van Nistelrooy.

The last two games have been the worse performances of the season and within a week we have scored 0 and conceded 7.

Horrific from Ruud today.

I think his thoughts were on how to keep the number of shots against us down, and that's why he went for experience in Coady, Vestergaard, Ward, Ayew, etc. It backfired spectactuarly because of these players, but Wolves only had 8 shots on us in total, so in some sense it worked.

However, his team selection and subs were horrific. Reid for Bilal!? Waiting for 84 minutes before taking off Ayew for Buonanotte after not starting him?

This is the first time at both Man United and for Leicester that he looked out of his depth.

Hard not to see us going down, we have a poor squad, low on morale and in bad form.

The lack of backroom staff appointments is telling. The isolation at the side of the pitch was striking. Far too early to tell, but this is beginning to look every inch of the disaster I thought it was when he was appointed.

All those poo-pooing Potter, he’d have installed a structure behind the scenes to build on by now. RVN has stuck up a photo of his favourite cat and thinks he can reinvent the club by power of will.

There’s a reason Potter turned this shitshow down twice.

Learning on the job with this dross (dross he had no say in) is obviously going to be difficult.

He needs to be judged more critically after the January transfer window, but that's not to say he should be immune to all criticism until then.

Yesterday is absolutely on him as

much as the players - I’m calling that the worst team selection of the season

I absolutely agree - for how bad Cooper was Ruud was fuching abysmal yesterday and him and Rudkin need to take a huge share of the blame.

Sheer and utter incompetence

If I can bloody see it before the game (he made at least 4 wrong selections which weakened us in every department from goalkeeper, defence, Midfield and attack) then the custodians of the club should be all over it

This club currently is fuched

You have to be honest and yesterday as a manager was truly woeful.

The crap as well he was spouting about fans booing Ward - Know your fuching facts mate

My faith in him has gone through the floor

Give him in to Feb and probably that Everton game

I’d go all out for Danny Rohl from owls, I think we gonna get pummeled in the next 3 games and Ruud could potentially walk.

Rohl has done an unbelievable job at Wednesday. If we went down I would feel comfortable with him bringing us back up

I like him. He will also demand transfers and the quality of those transfers will be much better than anything Cooper would attract.

We need to forget about today. Move on and look forward. No manager in the world would change everything around in the space of a few games with this side.

He can demand all he likes. He can stamp his feet like the girl in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  The problem is have we actually got any money?

Why is everyone forgetting that Cooper contributed to this awful squad?

Olive Skipp for £20mil - made a priority target by Cooper

Ayew for £5mil

Cordova Reid

He was also pushing for us to bring in a finished Zaha for £10 mil for 1 season! The squad was only going to get worse under Cooper, we had to get rid before he bought in further rubbish in January.

You got a source for that?

Sadly I think money from Mads is going to fund transfers in Jan.

RVN warning signs staring us in the face now. Losing his two best keepers, Fatawu, Ricardo and Wilf is bound to weaken the side. But just replacing them and just carry on playing the same way with the same system and tactics seems a bit stupid to me. Can't imagine for one minute that the likes of Moyes would do this. As others have said, the January window is massive.

Had a sleep and a bit better. This is going full Frank de Boer.

He'll be gone by either Villa or the FA Cup latest.

It'll be fine in the end. We'll all laugh about it in years to come.

Anyone who brings De Cordova Reid on for Bilal begins to trigger questions. You have to pick the 11  best players and play them, we didn't do that and as such are hampered from the start. To mean that team selection is worse than Coopers, which is worrying.

It’s nearly nearly 2025 and our starting CB’s are Coady and Vestergaard…I think that may be our issue…they both peaked 4-5 years ago

One couldn’t get in a Wolves or Everton side several seasons ago or our championship side and the other has been frozen out by previous managers with many thinking he’d never play again for us. Wtf is going on!!

Nobody at the club is going to let a manager build, that is the problem.

until the clowns at the top change it doesnt matter who the manager is.

I’m gonna ask again because no one’s answered.

A couple of weeks back many claimed (instantly) RVN had a clear vision, a plan, as opposed to pissing, moaning and whining Cooper having no plan.

What is the plan people spoke of exactly? Because I don’t really see one.

I’m no tactics connoisseur, that kind of shit bores me to tears, I just wanna see an exciting, attacking game of football so perhaps I’m blind to ‘the plan’, perhaps that’s on me but I genuinely don’t see much difference. In fact I’d argue we’ve got worse and with less fight.

I’ll caveat this by saying it’s early days and RVN is having to deal with suspensions and injuries and also this isn’t me saying RVN out because it’s not, I was nonplused with the Cooper situation and said when he was sacked nothing will change and that view remains.

But I don’t see any plan or vision, I think it’s got worse, but rather than people question and putting heat on RVN - like they did as vociferously as with Cooper and now blaming the players, they’re the same players, it just shows the difference and agendas people had.

Thought this was Rudkin's job?
