It’s a bit of a strange article. There is a lot of focus on RVN and talks of the club’s mismanagement but no real finger pointing. I also find it interesting that there’s a part in there that essentially says something like “is Rudkin even in charge of contracts?”.

Maybe I’m wrong, but it would not surprise me at all if this was a leak from Rudkin to alleviate pressure from himself and push the narrative of manager / player fallout.

Well someone feeds Percy with this information and have been for years.

Not many left at the club it can be.

Vardy, Rudkin, N’Didi

Some fringe players who were not selected for the Fa Cup game against QPR went to ask Ruud privately and wanted to know why they were not picked Ruud responded with ‘There are no Christmas presents at Leicester City’

YES BOSS!

"There are no Christmas presents here but if you want a raise just go and knock on Top's door. He's handing out 100k a week to anyone that asks".

There's about 8 board members who've been there long enough to remember Alan Birchenell with a learner plate glued to his crotch on a lamppost after the Crystal Palace play off final.

There's plenty it could be.

It’s through agents, not players.

The RVN press conference today could be box office

No chance the club will let him speak, expect it to be Ben Dawson in charge on Sunday.

The fact we had multiple papers releasing similar stories all at once before this, suggests someone higher up is not happy or as you say in self protection mode.

Imo it is suggesting Top is so desperate to be mates with the players he's been over ruling many things. But that's just me reading between the lines. What we can be confident in is it's as much of a clown show as many on here have suggested for a while.

Whilst the stories of RVN having a pop at Okoli over boots are a bit silly, if we believe all that's there I am actually OK with him trying to be stricter with the squad. It's a culture change that's needed as its too soft from the Top down.

I’m glad Ruud is calling the players out!

Maybe Okoli should change his boots, Ruud probably saw that he was wearing two left ones.

He probably doesn’t like a back chat and feels that the younger players need to earn his respect and learn some manners. And after watching the Coulibaly10 minute video  of him arriving at Seagrave you can see why as bang average players are being treated like Kings!  He must have seen a similar carry on at Carrington.

I hope he survives and puts Ange to the sword on Sunday, galvanises the squad and keeps us up, maybe then he will be in a better position.

We got relegated 20 months ago and absolutely nothing changed.

That's what I'm saying. We all hoped the silver lining to the last relegation would be a reset. If it were somehow guaranteed this at the cost of a relegation, I'd snap their hand off to get out of this spiral.

I desperately want him to succeed. Just like Enzo. Its a battle to fix our club due to the ownership and we need someone with a big rep to put Top in his place.

Do I think he will ? Unfortunately not.

Wow. We really are a complete shambles. We all knows how this ends of course, once the manager loses the dressing room they are done. Absolute circus of a club.

I still think it’s weird having coopers back room team here, just shows how skint we are

We’re not skint, we are paying below average players far too much money.

He's lost the dressing room for sure but I'm backing him. The culture and the attitude of the players stinks. They need to be told some home truths and if they don't like it they know where the door is.

We're in that much of a mess at the moment the people management is far more important than the tactical side of things.

I think he is right too.  But with top and rudkin in place he can do nothing

Aside from BEK and Mads, there isn't a single player I'd be disappointed to see leave now.

...and I'm not surprised he's called out Bounanotte - I've never seen a player lose the ball as much him...massively outweighs any positives he brings. Infuriating at times.

This was the second time in as many matches that temperatures were raised in the changing room. Mail Sport understands that following the 2-0 home defeat by Crystal Palace on January 15 some senior players held an inquest with the rest of the squad, trying to generate greater resolve and determination to escape the bottom three.

The message did not seem to be heeded, as Leicester’s display against Fulham was worse than the Palace one and caused fans to turn on the board and Van Nistelrooy
