Just listened to his post match interview.

Disappointed to hear him say the second goal killed the game. Retrospectively, you can see that but I hope that wasn't his attitude after 30 minutes last night. If so, that mentality just transfers over to the players and will do the exact opposite of instilling a never give up attitude.

That 'Foxes Never Quit' over the players tunnel, needs painting over

It means nothing to the manager or the players, it's an excellent phrase, and has meant alot to the fans and players in years gone by, but is lost on this current team, all they are interested in is a cushy time at the Seagrave Hotel and Spa, and collecting eye watering wages for sub standard performances, all backed up and supported, by the owner Top and DOF of the club. It's sad and a real shame

Managing one of the worst Premier League sides of the modern era to then having to take charge of this Leicester side. It’s been a rough few months for Ruud van Nistelrooy.

At least credit Paddy Power if you're going to steal their material

I agree. The correct answer is Paul Jewell,L or Terry Connor.

De Boer had 5 games, and didn’t score in four of them.

Siewert won 1 in 15.

Connor won 0 in 13.

5. Paul Jewell (Derby County, 2007-08) – 5% win rate (1 win in 24 games)

• Managed Derby during their infamous 11-point season, the worst in Premier League history.

Worst by Points Per Game (Minimum 10 Games)

1. Terry Connor (Wolves, 2012) – 0.31 PPG

2. Paul Jewell (Derby, 2007-08) – 0.42 PPG

3. Jan Siewert (Huddersfield, 2019) – 0.47 PPG

4. Frank de Boer (Crystal Palace, 2017) – 0.60 PPG

5. Ralph Hasenhüttl (Southampton, 2022-23, last stint) – 0.64 PPG

RVN currently has 0.58 points per game. So he belongs in this conversation.

Cooper was 0.83 points per game for Contrast.

Russell Martin is on 5 points from 16 games - 0.3125 per game.

After the last performance and now 5pts plus goal difference cut a drift. Not a chance of survival. There's nothing to get behind. Players have given up, manager has given up and the board are scratching each others backs.

Love your optimism, but alas there isn't any evidence to support your case.

I wonder if Ruud will go after the West Ham game as it gives us 10 days before the next match to agree on an interim arrangement or potentially identify a replacement.

That would seem a sensible approach.

However, we tend not to do sensible.

Leicester career starts and ends with West Ham. I like it. Get him gone.

You just watch......with that in mind we'll nick a last minute goal and win it

King and Barry Murphy to take charge away to West Ham and hope the next interim manager is available for the game against Chelsea away.

Changing the manager only has helped 42% of the time. Changing with 16 or more games in the season only has a 20% chance of working.

I hope this is banter?!

Did you see them quit in the first half against a distinctly average Brentford team? This team always quits

It’s laughable that people think that even if the club sacked Rudd that the inept idiots in charge would be capable of bringing in a competent replacement.

I know, these dizzy ***** tried to get Jesse Marsh before.

With the squad we have, it’s a huge mountain to climb to stay in this league, a huge one. That’s the reality. Today it showed that when we make a couple of mistakes and we didn’t perform at our best, Brentford was too big a challenge for us.

“It’s not fair to have certain expectations. You cannot live up to them. You can only be the best you can be. We’ll see at the end if it’s enough or not. So far we’re in that bottom three for a while and every game we play, we almost face a better side than ourselves. Everything has to go right to get results and points and that’s the reality we’re in

No wonder they get pumped every week

What really frustrates mean is that there is rarely a sudden burst of energy with real intent , like the JV effort in the 1st half when he made their CB look stupid, and the FB dribble and run on second half.

Yeh that statement says it all. He’s accepted defeat and is basically saying we should all accept our fate too. He has ran out of ideas, motivation, passion and will.

i think he will be gone soon and we’ll be back to the old tried & tested search for relegation battlers. In which order do we go? Shaky & smiffy? Dychee? Big Sam?
