Anyone know if Top and Rudkin were at the game last night, if so maybe just maybe there has been a conversation with Ruud and an acceptance to agree to his previously offered resignation.

Has he previously offered his resignation? I hadn’t heard that before, when was it?

Someone should tell Ruud, he hasn't quite figured out the 2nd half "improvement" was because the game was done and West Ham were just coasting and the fact anything would of been an improvement on the 1st half.

He really is pushing Brendan levels of delusion. Even against the backdrop of the KPFC propaganda machine this is absolutely shameful.

I think people need a reality check of who we're going to be able to attract now thanks to Rudkin and King Power's mismanagement.

People were asking why Potter didn't want to come here, pretty obvious now isn't it. Maybe our reputation within footballing circles is even worse than we think it is.

I said this at the time RE Potter, why would he want to come and work for these idiots.

I'd say it's pretty simple with Potter

"Graham we want you"

"Brilliant, i'd love to join, just a couple of things, I'll need to bring in my own director of football and technical director, he's at Chelsea at the minute but only as a scout so won't cost much"

"It's been lovely speaking with you, goodbye"

2 years later..... same conversation

He walked in to West Ham, they sacked Tim Steidten and his new DOF starts in the summer

To your first point, yeah I don't believe Top wanted him but Rudkin did. By sacking him they admitted it was a mistake by proxy. Yeah change the system for sure, I agree with that but fundamentally these lot are tripe.

Oh yeah no complaints from me about the quality. Dogshit.

He could at least try something different formation & system wise.

Sadly he makes Tater Peeler look like a tactical genius

I mean he really dosen't this isn't even a defense of RVN he has not been good but comparing him to Peter Taylor is laughable.

Taylor took a team that was 1st or 2nd? When he took over to finishing 13th and then relegated the following season.

Despite RVN's obvious floors he did not start with a team challenging to win the league he started with a team that already looked bad and destined for relegation.

Let's be honest, we won't get the kind of replacement that everyone would like with our current situation and owners. We're more likely to have to take a gamble on a potential up and coming manager (Ruud 2.0 😬), or a seasoned, unfancied journey man.

Dyche would be my choice, if he'd still want to come.

Yep. Rudkin has the club and King Power in a chokehold and both are about to black out.

What’s this obsession with bringing in Andy King, with zero managerial experience, in as the temporary manager and expecting him to do any better than Ruud against experienced Premier League teams and managers?

I think it's less expecting him to do better more just trying to get a feel good atmosphere around the club for the last few games of the season and then reassess and get a new manager in for the championship next season.

Personally my pick would be Wellens

Van Nistelrooy’s body language on the touch line is as ridiculous as Rodgers scribbling in his little book . It is based around simulated anger and frustration at his master plan being ruined by the incompetence of the players when everything else screams “ we haven’t a clue what we’re doing and if he doesn’t know how should we?”
he is an utter charlatan . If Tops magic money tree is looking a bit sick we surely cannot trust him and the half witted Rudkin with our rebuild

He started with a team outside the relegation zone that was scoring the odd goal. We were poor but not "destined" for relegation at that stage.

He has made the team worse. 0 goals in 6 consecutive home games should be a sackable offence alone.

I said weeks ago that it was a laugh that people on here were defending this manager but now I cannot see how anyone in their right mind can defend him. He's a joke.

The guys fing useless. I could do a better job. If we were already relegated then there would be no point sacking him but for the sake of pride and in a vain attempt to try and make a difference for the love of god please put us all out of our misery. The whole saga is embarrassing now and the number of shit performances after shit performances and excuses and taking positives from playing 10 minutes of good football or not conceding after going 2 down is a joke. Ruud....you wear a lovely turtle neck....you were a great striker but you ARE NOT a football manager and like Rooney never will be.

Did you even read what I wrote? The literal first line says "This is not a defense of RVN" he has been awful.

But comparing him with someone who took us from the top of the league to relegation over the course of a year is laughable and suggests you weren't there to see it.

Awful? Yes

Needs to go? Yes

As bad as Taylor? Definitely not

Before the spurs game, I don't think he offered his resignation officially, but he was seriously pissed off with us for not backing him aswell as some of the players attitudes and Top stepped in. Was when all those press releases circulated.

Yes I read what you wrote. You ended with "he started with a team that already looked bad and destined for relegation" which is simply not true. He has made this team worse and that was my point.

My last line was not aimed at you personally or your post, hence I edited my original post to add it on.

Have we ever had someone lose 12 in a row and keep their job? Like things we're bad under Rodgers that final year but i always believed in the team but this team and manager are the worst we've had in a long time...I do feel sorry for Ruud though, you can tell he's a nice guy and wants to succeed, he's just not what we need, we need someone who is going to lay down the law and not take any shit from anyone (Fans, players, board etc). Its not even about style of playstyle anymore, its about giving it 100% and wanting to be here and play for us, there is far to many in this team that are already got their eyes leaving and don't give a shit.

I can't say that he is outright, but he's certainly in contention for being our worst ever manager. We know the club's a shambles but he has undoubtedly made this worse.

There has been no where that has suggested that infact the only thing that I remember coming out said that we weren't keen on moves and didn't even offer him an interview

He is not the man to rebuild us in the Championship 100% and itll be an even bigger disaster for the club if they give him that oppurtunity. Get him gone and get an interim in for the rest of the season, re assess in the summer. Not ‘Kingy’, a proper manager

Ruud needs to light a fire under the players. The effort being shown by many is just unacceptable. Call them out and name them even if it's just amongst the squad.

Soumare's effort to block the cross for the first goal was appalling,  Players standing around in the box but challenging nobody.

Kicking it out to touch for no reason and no effort to get back when they broke and nearly got a third goal.

I don't see any point in changing him now. Lets just have a clearout in the Summer.

If he does go give it to BBM and King to see out the season. Maybe they might show enough to get the job fulltime.
