Couldn't care less if 'we can't afford to sack him' - it's far, far more dangerous to keep him and make the statement that the 'standards' he has set are somehow acceptable. His disastrous tenure will have massive implications for the future, the longer he's allowed to keep on destroying the team and the club.

Honestly, if we get rid of him now and we can pick up, say, four more points between now and the end of the season because of the 'bounce' that even RVN managed, then we can at least say that the season ended on something resembling a positive.

The fact he is hanging around waiting for a payoff having got us relegated in such a fashion says everything you need to know about him. The biggest inept **** in football management.

Says a lot about the incompetence of our owners too....

This is going to go down in Premier League folklore as one of the worst managerial appointments/spells of all time.

By one of the worst chairmen of all time.

We've got to keep him for Southampton

Why? They'll win that and then you can guarantee they'll overtake us.

Get him out whatever the cost, this embarrassment can't be allowed to continue

Exactly, let Derby keep their record, don't need us deciding to turn up for that one.

How is this clown still in a job? It’s not even the losing, or the not scoring - it’s the not changing anything.

Samar starting 11 as the shite that didn’t work before…

How can he stay in the job now?

Not even showing any signs that he'd be a good manager in the Championship

Because our owner heard he's breaking records with us but he has no clear they are all the records no one wants.

Wouldn't take him in league two

Have to put up with the embarrassment I’m afraid

no point in throwing any unnecessary money away

Make no mistake the level of incompetence in allowing this to continue is appalling.  For a manager to continue to pick the same starting XI week in week out is pure sabotage whilst the board watch on happy to accept such a drop off in standards.

Yes we were in league one once but feck me this is as bad as it’s ever been, the only bright spark in such a shit show of a season is a 15 year old given a 20 minute cameo when yet another game is dead and buried.

We are awful, lightweight all over the pitch, no fight,  no desire, no leadership and no idea how to be solid or how to break down a team it really is horrific watching to see a premier league team look so devoid and incapable of doing even the very basics. And we spent over £80m in fees and have the 13th highest wage bill.

Mismanagement all over the place and from Top to bottom.

100 per cent agree

they have to go now

the whole ****ing lot of them

Really can’t see how anybody else could do worse than Ruud then I remember we’ve been linked with Russell Martin…..

I think he took more points in 16 games at Southampton 9, then RVN 7 from 19.
