Utter dross, awful. Defensively inept. 

 

Faes and Vestergaard both have serious attitude issues and need shipping, Justin's confidence is shot. Who'd have thought Thomas would be one of the better performers. 

 

Thing is Coady and the defence largely dealt with the aerial attacks from Brentford, but shows how much they've evolved as they attacked with pace along the ground and we couldn't cope. Their finishing was excellent as well - four big chances, and scored all four. 

 

Need to focus on being tough to beat, as we have players offensively to hurt sides. We lack physicality and pace with that selection, looked better when Skipp and Mavididi came on but that's not saying much.

Remember guys, our squad is far too good to be down the bottom, mid table minimum since we have sacked cooper, nothing to worry about, I read it on Foxestalk.

Theres still enough in this squad to do well. When you’re in poor form it’s never going to look good. 
 

We’ve actually looked good at times this season, it’s only seriously wavered in the last few weeks, which coincided with Coopers exit…. This team lacks any organisation, tactical structure or decent coaching. If Ruud can deliver those three things, we will be fine. 
 

A fair few teams in this league man for man, aren’t actually that good, but they’re well drilled and well organised which will always get you results.

Just about as embarrassing as it gets. Put a coach in charge that thinks he’s another Pep. Need to throw those fckn manuals away and get back to good old work rate, mentality and getting the ball where it hurts attacking and in Row Z when defending. Sick to death of this crap week in and week out.

The second time in a row we've had a two week window to sack a manager, done it afterwards and basically given a game away on a complete idiot who picked a team so utterly ridiculous I think I could've done no worse. Absolutely unprofessional outfit. If ChatGPT picked that XI today I'd uninstall it.

I agree with the sentiment but i dont expect either of them feel any sense of responsibility for it whatsoever

I don’t want to see Dawson here even as a coach and he can take that Andy guy who’s meant to be a set piece specialist. What has he improved? It’s probably our worse performance of the season. Dawson made cooper look like Ancelotti

Game summary:

 

- Brentford totally dominated. All loose balls went to Brentford. The amount of times we just hoofed it and gave possession straight back is embarrassing.

 

- One of the two predominant reasons for today’s failure is the system of playing 3/5 at the back leaving us badly exposed on the right again. Coincidentally, it is Justin’s side again.

 

- The other reason is playing Ndidi as a pivot. How many times does he have to play there for anyone to see that he is a handicap. We cannot afford to carry any player in the Premier League. His lack of technical skills, poor passing, poor control and not making himself available for a pass is unforgivable at this level. Both Cooper and Enzo don’t play him there. Why did Dawson? Clueless. Sell Ndidi in January while he still has some value.

 

- Despite such a poor first half, Dawson made absolutely zero change to his tactics.

 

- Faes did his best to showcase his awful defending today.

 

- Justin is not a good defender anymore and his attacking plays do not make up for it.

 

- Thomas offers nothing going forward but at least he is ok defensively and he turned decent in the second half.

 

- No idea why Bounuoette came off when he was the only player doing something.

 

- The best pivots we have right now are Skipp and Soumare. Wait, we just have two.

 

- RVN might be asking Top whether there is a cooling off period.

As Cooper said in his last interview, we can`t attack and we can`t defend

Didn`t see any signs of a midfield either

Still at least a goalie who let 4 in was our MOM
