It'll be interesting to see what RVD will do here.

I'd like to see him bring Mavididi on so that we have a player on the pitch who is confident in their 1v1's.

If he’s fit, he looked very lethargic last time he came on

I'm actually pretty happy with that half - our shape is good, there have been far fewer basic errors and we look like we can actually link midfield and attack.

But who's dick does Stephy Mavididi have to suck to get a game?

I would love to know the thought process of RVN thinking ayew and mcateer are going to get anything against premier league defenders. Neither has skill, neither has much pace, neither can take a man on, they are literally a full backs best friend.

Not great but not awful. As the table shows they're a very good side and we're just not there yet. Still in it though

Yeah definitely true but to stay up you’ve gotta be getting something at home still

Yes - I think that is the reason he's not starting.

Under Cooper we weren't trying and shit and today I feel we have tried, but in the end, still shit.

However we've shown a couple of glimpses of being able to get at their defence if we can hold the ball long enough.

Midfield have no control, wingers aren't good enough and with Vardy it has to be perfect. Love a way of getting Daka and Vardy together, can't be any worse.

Skipp and Daka on, for McAteer and Ayew. And go 433.

ayew reeks of when a players brain still thinks their body has their old speed. He’s late to everything the challenges are clumsy because he’s just not able to keep up.

It’s a bad day at the office for him and yet again proof that he can’t start games

That first half was a Jordan Ayew disasterclass.

Gives away two free kicks in dangerous areas

Lets Lamptey cut inside for the goal

Lets the ball go over his head almost leading to a second

Passes the ball out for a throw in

If he comes out second half he’ll probably score now I’ve said all that, but ideally he needs hooking for Mavididi.

I don't get what's happened there with the ref? The defender blocks a shot with his meat and two veg and he stops play? Then blows for HT?

I thought they only stop for head injuries?

Surely it can’t be any more obvious we need something out wide in the window.

Worked it into some pretty good situations out wide, especially on the right, and we’ve just completely butchered it.

Yeah I agree overall but today it's not for a lack of effort or plan imo. It might not be an astronomical improvement on the face of it but it's an improvement nonetheless

Defensively we look reasonable. Narrow shape and largely restricted them to long range efforts.

We've not threatened and a lack of Facundo and quality wingers is the issue.

Id make changes based on that half.

Reid for mcateer

Mavididi for ayew

Daka on 60 again for vardy
