I like KDH, he had a great season in the championship, but he is very one footed which will probably stop him becoming a top player and is probably why he can't get a game at Chelsea. We did very well to get 30m for him. On loan he could be a good signing but not to get in front of either Bilal or Facundo. 3

Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 I'd have KDH in our midfield all day long. His energy and drive would create space for the other more technically gifted players. It's all about the blend. He has some very good attributes. But if all our club mids were fit. It's not the no.1 priority for me.
Chelmofox Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 Whilst he's not been playing, has he been putting in extra practice with his right foot?
Popular Post honeybradger Posted 2 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 2 January 2025 (edited) It's insane that people are saying Dewsbury hall, who go 26 g+a for us last season, would not start for us. Even though it was in the championship this side needs goals and creativity and he would offer that for us. Edited 2 January 2025 by honeybradger 7

Both, if they continue their current progress will end up at a club like Chelsea and not to play only in the conference league. I love KDH but having both Facundo and Bilal here is a very rare strike of (recent) luck for us. 1

Whilst I think he may have worked on his output, I don't see him being as creative and dangerous as Bounanotte or El Khannouss at this level. 10
coolhandfox Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 (edited) Energy and running is underrated. 100% we would have more points if we'd have keep KDH. Edited 2 January 2025 by coolhandfox 3

Dewsbury Hall didnt offer as many goals and assists with Luton in the championship when he was with them as he did last season with us. I would play him alongside El Khannouss and Buonanotte and perhaps playing him instead of Mavidi or player El Khannouss deeper instead of one of Winks/Soumare. 1
HankMarvin Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 If it’s on Loan, He has got to be on over 100k now, Chelsea don’t want to subsidise any more wages. That 2.5m on wages could be better spent on finding a player that’s going to have a future here and on less wages.
FosseSpark Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 you could play Winks Soumare/Ndidi KDH Bounanotte El Khannous Vardy KDH an Ndidi at least get in the box, which weve failed to do in numbers at points this season.

Chelsea aren't going to have a choice but to subsidise wages if Enzo wants to work with a smaller squad which it seems like he does. Chilwell is on around 200k per week apparently and like you say KDH must be on about 100k. Those are just two examples. They have the same problem we have had in that nobody will pay the same wages or more for any player we want to leave.

Sly Posted 2 January 2025 Author Posted 2 January 2025 I mean, you could just ditch all wide players and play through the middle in a 4-2-3-1 formation. We’d be so exposed down the wings though that the full backs would get slaughtered. Which is our weakest area. 1
Popular Post Freeman's Wharfer Posted 2 January 2025 Popular Post Posted 2 January 2025 A few people need to separate head and heart in this thread. He’s only ever been a standout player in a side far too good for The Championship. If you think that is the answer to our problems then you’re wrong. 10

Don't get me wrong he's good enough but not so good that we shouldn't/can't improve on him. Dewsbury Hall would provide us attacking threat as well as the ability to carry the ball up the pitch whilst El Khannouss could play the Winks role with better passing and more physical presence/workrate. 1

Both as a player and the journey he has been on – Leicester lad etc. Always will. I do want to see him in a Leicester shirt again at some point – if it suits our situation and is the right thing for him too. But he wouldn't be my choice to solve the problems we currently have. I genuinely don't think we'd be much different re. points total even if we'd had him for this season.
Clarkey123 Posted 2 January 2025 Posted 2 January 2025 Him and Bilal as attacking 2 in Enzos system 1
