I just don't see why he wants to keep us, you're hemorrhaging money left right and centre from both businesses (KP and LCFC), the only thing I can think of is he's borrowed money against the assets of the club to fund King Power while they try and transition which is why we can't/haven't been sold.

It's not about money. The club was never brought as an investment - it has always been a hobby. The only difference is it was a hobby his Dad was good at, Top doesn't have the same skills

In 2023 Top wrote off a £194 million pound loan from King Power to the club. He has continually overspent over his tenure at the club... this financial mismanagement isn't because there is no money, it's caused by the complete ignorance of FFP rules and attempting to blindly throw money at it.

Why does he want to keep us? Erm it is where his Dad died, it is where his Dad was at his happiest, we are a symbol of his Dads and families greatness... people forget the sentiment behind the club to his family.

Oh and no I'm not a King Power fan - I want him gone because sentiment doesn't run a football club and he simply has no clue how to run any of the business ventures he inherited, but I understand why that is personally hard for him - it would like he failed his Dad (and in fairness he has)

He either has to sell for the good of the club or overhaul the board and bring in outsiders who do know how to run a football club - but yet another promotion for Jon Rudkin proved that he really has no clue how to run the club, he has no idea the views of the fans and he will undoubtedly run the club into the ground unless King Power go bankrupt forcing him to sell

Top’s experience of being hands on under Sven and Sosa was such a disaster that Vichai had to get more involved and led to us being investigated by the EFL for financial irregularities

I still remember this, Sousa was an absolute disaster, if we had kept him we would have been relegated to league one trying to play tippy tappy.

Sven to be fair did improve as a significant amount, but it did also involve some players from a higher level coming down to play for him, and fell apart after that Derby away game where he got figured out.  The form under Sven was 2nd in the league, but that wasnt actual 2nd due to the 10 games Sousa had.

Then sense came in when Pearson came back and we started making more sensible player acquisitions as well.

The not wanting to sell because it's part of his dad's legacy line makes sense... except he's completely tarnishing the legacy with his negligence.

And it also doesnt  make sense because each of the other kids plus the mother reduced ownership as well as interest in the club following Vichai’s death. So are people saying Top cares more than the other children ? Or that the mother couldn’t take coming back to the club, Top keeps it despite knowing this ?

He’s keeping this club because it massages his ego. Any other reason is quite frankly bollocks.

Still waiting for one good reason they should stay.

Forget all the countless reasons it should be time up, what is genuinely one reason that benefits LCFC in this moment in time?

Wheres the media in this? Nothing from anyone, just fans constantly knocking at the door asking for answers.

The boycott was widely covered?

It was covered and it was covered well, but it was reporting on the fans actions. Whwre are they in actually challenging the narrative? how are we allowing Marti to get away with "we need to look at ourselves", "we need to address this on the pitch" without any real pressure being applied? Where are the senior reporters following up on Tops comments, 9 weeks and counting, wants to be closer but still not visible? No movement on the technical director front other than social meadia rumours, they allow the club and those within it such an easy ride!

As I say, one 'good' reason...

The only reason is sentiment, which is weak.
