At least one thing I take from that interview he isn't 100% wedded to "pep" football. Lots of the other stuff its just sound bites.

Fvcker probably doesn't know what tactics are outside of football manager.

Piecing all this together. If he's genuine about the new Tech Director choosing our identity, then we cannot hire a permanent manager before that person is brought in.

King will take charge for now. The lad from Southampton will come in after the transfer window, and Russell Martin will be in charge either straight away (if Andy Gets a few wins) or in the summer.

We won the Premier League because of Rudkin? Even if that is true 1) It was a very long time ago in footballing terms. 2) If he's responsible for that, surely he's responsible for what comes after. Even Claudio didn't last 9 months after it so the logic doesn't add up.

mercury interview - generic really.

They've acknowledged Rudkin has too much to do, and sounds like we have a person in mind for the role.

Aside from anything, thank goodness Jordan Blackwell retains some journalistic integrity and avoids OPA's creepy crawling lickspittle :Khun Top' moniker.

Disgusting from OPA

Assume the only role available to Rudkin other than CEO (shudders) is something like "Group head of sport" or some shite?

🙄

I think he's trying to say we forgot who we were and what worked and became a bit Billy big bollocks.

I'm thinking that's where he ends up, group head of sport and be over the clubs, polo etc

Theres an acceptable level of vulnerability in leadership where you acknowledge that you have made mistakes and then you ensure you thoroughly evaluate what happened and dont make the same mistakes again. We have no accountability and no startegic thinking, just misguided trust that those who once got it right will somehow get it right again.

His repeated blaming of COVID for our decline is staggering.

The suggestion that somehow it impacted more on Leicester confuses me . Or should I say worries me

Rudkin must’ve got Covid which is what made him piss away silly money on wages

In any of these interviews was he asked about the rubbish transfers and awful contracts handed out?

Yes

- "It's good to be ambitious"

- "Four of us make decisions on signings"

Again absolving himself of any kind of accountability.
