Have to be more smarter up front. That close to the end of the half you don't lose it on the break. Drive it on, win the foul, take it to the corner whatever

44 minutes went by and STILL James Justin hadn’t switched on to the fact that Gakpo wants it on his right foot and will look at going inside at every opportunity. 
 

He just lets him and every single bit of fight and good work we’d put in for the entire first half is up in smoke. 
 

If I’m Ruud or a teammate at half time, I’m absolutely furious with that.

Some real excellent performances out there. I don't think I can fault a single player thus far.

Played really well, BEK, winks and soumare have been competitive in the midfield, something we've lacked the last few weeks.

 

Whilst it was a great finish, you can't let Gakpo in on his right foot there and not close it down.

 

But overall can't be disappointed, it's liverpool after all and we are having moments.

It's just bizarre these players let the cut inside. Just drive him wide for a cross we've dealt with several times in this game. I don't understand what's going in their mind.

Justin needs taking out the firing line now. Beyond ridiculous. Played as well as we possibly could there. These are levels above and will win easy, but I feel a bit more optimistic.

Messi doesn’t do step overs as they’re not required to beat people. I wish we’d teach players this as it’s pointless. Drive into the space.

Great defending and great effort shown. Justin however has been one of our weakest outfield players all season. A new RB is a priority in the winter.

Such a shame we conceded just before half time (although it felt inevitable), we’d been compact and defended well, and a lovely goal. I think they’ll hit hard at the start of the 2nd half, hope the boys are ready. Come on Leicester!

Typical FT. We were predicting 10-0 defeats earlier. We score first and were winning the match for 30 mins or so before an equaliser. In the face of many decent attempts by Liverpool - yet all the posts are about how shit our team is 😂😂

 

The lads have done alright first half. Earlier today I’d have ripped your arm off for 1-1 at half time and showing the fight they’ve shown so far compared to the whimper we saw on Sunday.

We've played well. Been undone by a wonderful. Need to attack more, if we come out with out backs against the wall the whole half we'll eventually concede
