Lad1966 Posted 18 January Posted 18 January Gone quiet. We need this to happen, so that we can reinvest in the team! But this board😡
Popular Post Skidmark Posted 18 January Popular Post Posted 18 January He has to stay in my opinion. Bring him into the first team, it can't get much worse than the attacking prowess on display in the past two games. Then he has to lead the promotion charge next season. Selling him would be immensely foolish. 9

But this board😡 Just because it's not being blabbed all over the media doesn't mean it's not happening behind the scenes. Sometimes, all parties like to conduct such personal business confidentiality which is common sense to me. It's not always appropriate for it to be bandied about just so a few football fans can gossip.
HybridFox Posted 20 January Posted 20 January I feel for him. Been a PSR pawn at both Everton and us trying to sell him to make funds at the expense of him having any real consistent opportunities. He's clearly a talent and will hopefully finally settle at a club he's wanted be it Sheffield United or any other promotion chasing team 1

Flappit Posted 20 January Posted 20 January Sheff Utd. just re-signed Diaz from Southampton, so Cannon seems unlikely for them now.

A lot of gum flapping from Wilder on Cannon as well as Diaz. You never hear transparency from managers at the best of times, so it would suggest Cannon is also close to completion.
Flappit Posted 20 January Posted 20 January Shhh. I was trying reverse psychology in the hope that the footballing gods thought we want him to stay 1
surrifox Posted 20 January Posted 20 January I get the impression we're not an easy club to deal with on players we sell but I'd prefer us not to be pushovers

He hasn't shown anything to suggest he's a Premier League player yet either. A sale certainly makes sense for all parties. 1
