So Ladies & Gentlemen, we are half way through the season and just wanted to know peoples ratings on the squad performance so far.....

Hermansen 10/10. He has kept us in games where we should have conceded 5+, such as at Arsenal.

 

All the defence have been so bad I cannot rate them. I genuinely have not disliked every defender at the club at once before. Shout out to Justin turning into Roberto Carlos for a minute away at Arsenal though. 

 

Buonanotte is the stand out midfielder, often creating something out of nothing. I dread to think about the lack of creativeness had he not been in the team at times. The rest have been the average 5 / 10.

 

Vardy pick of the strikers. Say no more.

I can't be arsed doing the entire squad but I definitely wouldn't give Bounanotte an 8.

 

I'd probably put both him and BEK on a strong 7, Bounanotte got off to a stronger start but he's been outshone a bit since the team has collectively shown a bit more cohesion. 

 

I'd have Vardy join them on 7 and Soumaré would get one for recent showings but probably a 6 currently overall. 

 

Mads comfortably player of the season so far, won't even be a contest at this rate.

It's so bad that Fatawu was injured.

 

His sub appearance against Southampton was 11/10.  He scared the absolute crap out of them and turned the game.

Yeah all these 10s for Mads are a bit strong, one clean sheet all season. Two goalkeepers from fellow promoted teams with higher save percentage. 
10 leaves no room for improvement.

Pretty much the best of a bad bunch.

I actually think Hermansen has been our standout player by some distance. 
 

These ratings are often warped by personnel opinions on players.

 

If you look at the goalkeeping stats for the top 5 leagues, they’re an interesting reading.

In a nutshell, Hermansen was expected to concede more goals than any other keeper in the top 5 leagues. He is however now 2nd in the number of goals he’s prevented. He drops to 4th if you look at the per 90, however that’s still good going. He’s kept us in games and without him we’d be significantly worse off. 
 

I’d rate his higher than the average score he has.
