Erm, we were pretty much in every game under Cooper.

 

We came from 2-0 to win 3-2 at Southampton, got a late draw at Ipswich and fought back to get a draw against Spurs. We also fought back from 2-0 down to 2-2 at Arsenal even thought we lost it late. Forget that we benefitted from red cards or who some where against, we still showed fight.

 

Tactically he was terrible. But to say we weren’t on games or that we didn’t show fight is definitely revising history or an agenda.

The tactics and set up were fine and the execution was decent.

 

Created a couple of openings that Bilal should really have done better in the first half and Mavididi should have scored in the second.

 

Regardless of this, we can’t carry on with games on such fine margins with the squad we have.  We’re relying on basically scoring every chance we create whilst at the same time, hoping someone (Justin) doesn’t have a brain fart moment.  
 

Neither of these things are likely to happen as it stands.

 

Desperately need quality additions but given where we are, cannot see them

materialising.

It sounds a lot but with a new RB, CB, LM and ST we will be able to play the way Ruud wants.

Individual errors again. Vesty heading the ball out to a central area and for the second Ayew not antipating that JJ was in trouble and needed help. Ayew's not defensively minded. We need at least 5 players in of good quality which I don't see happening.

I don't think you can blame Ayew, Justin has just got to go long, Villa had locked onto everyone in the corner and as soon as he's held on to the ball for so long it just has to go. Whatever pass he made he was playing us in trouble.

Vardy is the goat and has legend status rightly so for this club....but it really is painful to see him slowly fading away. Sometimes you should finish whilst you are on top, we are not in a position to carry a player just because he's a legend and may have one flash of brilliance every so often. He doesn't have the legs or the pace and at 38 thats understandable, he offers absolutely nothing in this team the minute.
