Yeah that's fair, the right would still be an issue because defensively he's not fantastic, but at least we would have an option at right wing which would allow Buonanotte or El Khannouss to come central, and a proper RB would help. I just feel like Justin attacks far better than he defends and his position is leaking us goals we need to improve the squad but Justin will still need to play a role regardless, with fatawu out i'd rather he was placed further up the pitch and allow a really strong defensive full back to slot in where he is now.

Number 6 Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Appreciate the point about youngsters but let's not complain about what looks like a comfortable win. Ruud didn't know it would be this comfortable before but obviously thought getting the win was important. May have thought he'd need the bench strength. 1
Popular Post Hales Posted 11 January Popular Post Posted 11 January Everyone saying about youngsters....hindsight is a wonderful thing...no one would of predicted this scoreline and this team needed confidence! We are winning! Enjoy it instead of picking holes! Come on Leicester! 14

Mads will be gone, and the chances of us signing a goalkeeper who saves us as much as Mads is, is pretty slim, at some point the defenders and midfield covering them need to improve, as well as a few new faces. 1

Last game of the great escape season. I can see Cambiasso bowing to the kop now. Could've sworn that was 5-2? edit. Just looked it up. It was 5-1. Well I'll be gosh-darned! Carry on. Mr.Bingles Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Great for the players confidence this is. Especially JJ. I think RVN was right to go for it today. We need to get used to winning again. Its been bleak these last few weeks. 2
Dahnsouff Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Lets hope this breeds some confidence, and I realise people wanted to see youth, but there must be reasons we don`t see the u21s more often, and its hard to criticise too much as we got a much needed win with the selected side. (and a minor thing but Kasey and Hamza were on the bench, so there is a pathway of sorts clearly) Really hope we sign another CB to get rid of Coady 1

Popular Post Sly Posted 11 January Popular Post Posted 11 January We need a Daka goal. For all the shout about playing youngsters, breathing some confidence into the first team players will do them the world of good. 11 1

Spudulike Posted 11 January Posted 11 January 28,242 official attendance. Respectable given the recent poor performances and weather conditions. Pleased for those that braved it. Cracking game. 3

StanSP Posted 11 January Posted 11 January You'd like to think 5 goals at any stage or the season gives you confidence for the next game or two at least. 4
