leicesterlad1989 Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Awful. Defensively we are muck. But we have individuals who are thick as ****. Winks is the candidate today, taking over from Justin last week.

Gav_LCFC14 Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Its a serious issue that we always seem to have 1/2 players intent on losing the game despite how well everyone else is playing 2

Agreed, but I think the pressure they exerted at 1-1 probably owed a bit to us lacking a good defensive midfielder, à la Wilf of a few seasons ago.

We'd have been ****ing pumped numerous times under Cooper if he didn't have Mads. There's a reason he was top of the pile for saves made and goals prevented under Are Steve Completely agree with this, mads would have saved multiple goals we've conceded, but purely from a defensive pov from our back 4 and the midfielders protecting them, we've regressed from what I can see. To be fair, we've been so bad this season it's hard to tell how much worse/the same we are

Hmmmmm …… yeah, I’ll take the more risky option I think he sees himself as a bit of a pass master because he bossed a few shit championship midfields last season. He's a nothing footballer just like his mate Skipp

moore_94 Posted 11 January Author Posted 11 January Going to end up being 60+ minutes for most of our starters when we have 2 important league games in the next week, Ayew and someone like Skipp are definitely going to start at least 1 of them 2 1

You see Faes pointing to Jakub so I have no idea what Winks thought he was trying to do (Make a defence splitting pass I guess) Edited 11 January by Dahnsouff

I'd say giving 2 goals away in 1 game certainly amounts to a shocking performance. If Ward gave away 2 goals but made 2 good saves, people would say he had a terrible game. Winks hasn't really contributed anything positive in this game, he's been poor. His performance without the mistakes probably would be a 5/6 out of 10. With the mistakes it's probably a 3. Dreadful. 1
Gazza M Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Just take every goal kick long and get the ball away from our goal as far as possible and play from there. If we lose it on half way line at least we have a chance of recovering the ball back. Defensive suicide at the min this playing around the back. 2 1

So they fail to do the ugly basics when needed. 2
Fazzer 7 Posted 11 January Posted 11 January If it's not Justin it's Winks, if it's not Winks it's Coady and so on. There's something intrinsically wrong at this club. It's not once in a while, it's week in week out someone makes a hideous mistake that costs us. 4

I know we’ve been saying for weeks that our defence isn’t prem level, but this is relegation championship defending. unless we sign an entire back 4 and CDM, Ruud is going to have to use his management and tactical skills to improve the players we have also. Defensively we’ve regressed under Ruud and that is a major cause for concern. Mads

For me we over play in bad areas everyone has been brainwashed into think you have to play 20 pass in your own third. I watched Burnley, Southampton, us try it after coming up, whilst Forest flourish playing a much simpler system. 2 1
Filbert Fireworks Posted 11 January Posted 11 January 2 goals conceded at home before half time to QPR. Enough of the comedy show now. Pay Ruud the clown off and bring in moyes to keep us up before its too late. 2
Popular Post Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 January Popular Post Posted 11 January What percentage of the goals we've conceded this season have been our own doing? It's farcical. 6
moore_94 Posted 11 January Author Posted 11 January Probably going to have to watch the 2nd half on the monitors in the concourse because we are getting soaked from the amount of water coming off the roof ffs

When we were good players without fear but not prone to stupid errors that allow teams to score without having to create the opportunity. This squad full of gormless errors
when_you're_smiling Posted 11 January Posted 11 January Scored three, Vardy really should have had another and it was only a sympathy decision from the ref that stopped him having another chance you’d usually have backed him to score. It would be great but for Winks just giving QPR two goals. The defence is shite but they can’t do anything when the ball’s just been given to the opposition like that. Makes me angry about all those in the KDH thread saying he wouldn’t get in our side now. He’d be first name on the sheet. 1
