If he's heart set on going to one of the traditional 'Big 6' then Arsenal probably the best place for him, in the past couple of years alone they've introduced and given meaningful gametime to Lewis-Skelly, Nwaneri and Dowman, all a similar age to Monga.

I know Nwaneri looks like he could be on his way out, but they seem less interested in playing the homegrown and sell for pure profit PSR game that teams like Man City and Chelsea do. Although not sure how his commitment to us affects his eligibility to be homegrown from a PSR perspective.

I wouldn't expect to see much of him this season, maybe a few cup appearances, but there's clearly a willingness to play these guys if they're good enough, which I have no doubt Monga will prove to be.

If Trossard and Martinelli are potentially on their way out as well, and Saka is good for missing time through injury each season, there may be opportunities pick up some minutes, although I'm sure they'll go out and get someone proven.

Sucks that we're in this position, but the club have no-one but themselves to blame. We as fans are well within our rights to be angry with them, and let them know about it, but we have to start making sensible decisions and unfortunately if we can get close to £10M for Monga in our current position we need to do it.

Very likely gonna be 10m of which almost half is time and performance related.

Spudders with his pants down as usual.

So £5m then, maybe £6m max because we won't see a penny of that extra cash in time for it to impact our absolutely vital books for this coming season. There's no way he breaks into their first team before being sold on / loaned back out to lower-league clubs unless he has a monumental upturn. It's a shame he's going, he could have really developed into a far more valuable asset for us in a better team and with more gametime, but this is what happens when you pair a young prospect with a cooked Ricardo for defensive support and have him feed a human potato like Ayew. Talk about in at the deep end.

That's one of the two players I earmarked as potentially making us £10m plus sold for basically half of what he's potentially worth. Fatawu is the other and he's probably got 2, 3 games max left at the world cup to put his name in lights and somehow get a big money move. None of the others are going to get us anywhere near that much, and with a supposed defecit of £70 million to make up and only £2 million of TV money to work with, it's absolutely vital that we raise funds through selling absolutely everyone we can, and at the best price we can get.

I know we've dug our own grave with relegation - a bit like we did with Maddison a couple of years back - but f*** me with Rudders at the table our negotiation strategy seems to be cracking open a tub of vaseline and calling them daddy.

The PL champions? Must of been a tough decision..

Yes them, hated them since being robbed in the cup in ‘71, horrible club and horrible manager.

I think it's another one we have managed to coach the spontinaety out of.......first few games good, then seemed to be taking lessons off Stephy about not taking men on.I'm sure with better players and coaches he will reach his full potential.

And also forgot to teach him how to play in a team, pass and move.  He really needs to be around coaches and players that aren’t ours.

He turned into Mongadidi and even did a few Ayew dives

The Rodney Fern goal disallowed by Jim Finney for not much at all

  • Total Fee: The agreement is reportedly worth around £10 million
  • Add-ons/Bonuses: The headline number consists of an initial base fee combined with performance-based add-ons that will trigger based on the player's progression and appearances.
  • Future Transfer Percentage: Leicester City included a sell-on clause in the transfer, meaning they will receive a percentage of any future transfer fee Arsenal receives if they sell Monga later.
  • Contract Status: Monga is currently on a scholarship deal but is expected to sign his first professional contract when he turns 17 on July 10. Because he is underage, if the two clubs had not reached an agreement, the fee would have been decided by an official tribunal.

So that’s 10m total if the add ons are triggered …..

People assumed we’d rebuild around the likes of Monga and the academy lads, but perhaps they are more likely to be sold? Get decent fee and 100% goes on the books.

Would be really sad if our most talented cohort gets sold off because we’ve become shit, and yet another KP **** up.

They are the only sellable assets or at least Monga and Nelsen are. The rest are a very hard sell, back to back relegations, big wages, terrible for the dressing room. There are better and easier footballers to buy for any half decent run club
